I was running around in the dark damp forest, my eyes wet from my tears. My legs were torn from the branches and thorns I ran through, and my hair was a mess; a big sweaty mess. I heard the crunching of the branches coming from behind me, and it only fueled me to run faster. My breath was quick and I was tired. I tripped and fell over a rock, and I stayed there, panting, trying to catch my breath. Suddenly the breaking of the twigs stopped and I moved to look behind me. I didn’t see anyone. Maybe I lost him. I turned around to face in front of me, and I slowly got up, and I started to climb a tree, trying to get off of the ground. That’s when I saw it. A beautiful white light in the form of a person… No, an angel. It had a tall body structure, but you could see the wings on its back. I wanted to scream, but I was also amazed by this creature. The Angel motioned for me to follow it. I hesitated for a second, but then I heard a growl and the snap of a branch. Then I ran towards the Angel and when I reached her, I realized… I saw my body, my little lifeless body lying on the ground, impaled by a fallen branch.

I woke up from my dream to the sounding of my alarm clock. It was 6:00 A.M. and it was time to get ready for school. My mom had left for work, and I was alone. She told me last night she had a meeting and she had to be there by seven. I stared at the ceiling, slowly getting a grip on what had just happened. After a few moments of silence, I sighed. “It’s time for school… Ugh…” I let out a sigh. I didn’t feel like going, but I had to. No, wait, I could just skip school and delete the message from the school calling. So, I smiled and I just went to take a nice relaxing shower. When I got out, I realized it was 7:10. That was a long time in the shower.  I got dressed in my pajamas, which consisted of long fuzzy pink and black cheetah-printed pants and a black tank-top. Sometimes even a navy blue hoodie. I made my way my bed and I opened up my laptop. I stretched and I logged on to Facebook.

I scrolled through my News Feed and smiled at the statuses. Some even made me crack up. After a few hours of mindless talking, I go downstairs and make myself some ramen noodles. I also stare at my backpack full of unfinished schoolwork. My mind wanders and I soon hear the bubbling of the water and I place in the noodles, and put on the flavoring powder on the noodles and in the water to add equal flavors. I stirred the water and let it finish off by soaking the noodles, making them soft and warm. I waited, and let them boil a little longer until the noodles were the same color as the water. I let them soak and then I poured the noodles and the juice in to a bowl and made my way back to my room.

From there, I chatted with my online buddies until I got tired and I yawned, looking at the time. It was 10:12 A.M. and I was already tired? Wait, no, that can’t be right. I stretched and I closed my laptop, and I walked over to my bed and sprawled out on it. I began to doze off before I heard the ringing of my cellphone. I groaned and checked the caller ID and I saw it was one of my close friends calling. Well, from Facebook at least. I answered the phone and smiled.

Hey, what’s up?” my friend Alexandria said. I giggled, relieved it was just her. “Hey Alex, what’s shaking, bacon?” We both knew each other very well, that’s why we shared out names with each other. “How come you’re not at school?” She asked, and I got red in the face. “I didn’t feel like going, and I knew the lessons they were teaching anyways.” I replied. Suddenly there was a beep and I looked at my cellphone, seeing she hung up. It must have been time to clean or something.

I started to doze off again and I woke up at three in the afternoon. I sighed and I went to my book-bag and got out my work to finish it. “Math, English, Vocab, and Social Studies…” I said to myself as I completed each and every one of those assignments. I sighed and laid back in my bed. “What an uneventful day…” I mumbled to myself and I opened up my computer to start Facebooking again. I opened up a new tab on Firefox and I went to YouTube and put on my favorite song, ‘When I’m Gone’, from Pitch Perfect. I started to dance around the room and giggle, occasionally going back to my laptop to put on a new song or reply to a chat.
