I came up with this last night hope you like it. And I never realized how much of a fail this stroy was. I will be going through, adding detail and fixing plot amongst some other stuff. Bear with me on this because I'm working on Stolen Innocence. If you want a good story read that lol but I will fix this and it will be much, much better.

I might switch POVs i will let you know depending on how many people like it.

Suprises

Axen's POV

"Yo, Earth to Axen?" My best friend Aved asked waving a grubby hand in front of my face. It was close enough that I could smell the stench of the football. We were sitting on the curb of my school waiting for Aved's friends to come pick him up. He had football practice and I had waited for him because he was one of the only friends I had here.

"What oh, sorry. I was zoning." I replied as I jerked my head back. I looked up at the guy I called my best friend and squinted, unable to see him but knowing he was smirking. A piece of red curly hair fell into my eyes and I swiped at it.

"It's okay I was just wondering if-" he paused as if considering on asking me something and scratching his jaw in an awkward manner. "Nevermind it's not that important." Aved said after a breif pause, waving his hand as if to brush it off. I bit my lip and squinted some more trying to see his face. Usually his big head would block out the sun but not today.

"No, Aved. You can ask me." I said as I shifted to a more comfortable position since my butt was going numb. He was acting as though he was nervous and there really was no reason for it. Aved happened to be a good looking guy with darkish semi curly hair and bright blue eyes. He was one of the most popular guys in my school. All the girls liked him even I had a teeny tiny crush on him although he could never ever know that.

He cleared his throat and shifted his eyes to me. "Well okay but you have to promise not to laugh."

"Okay, I won't." I said with a shrug since whatever he was going to ask obviously had him tweaking out which wasn't normal for Aved.

"well I was wondering if you um-" Aved started out and winced as he fumbled with his words. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"C'mon Aved just spit it out already." I said trying not to laugh.

"Willyougooutwithme?" he asked in one big rush and I missed most of the vowels. I scowled at him.

"Uh come again? This time try to speak into my good ear." I said leaning closer and pointing to my right ear as I spoke loudly. He shoved my shoulder and his face looked a little red. He tried to run a hand through his hair but failed because it was pulled back in a small ponytail. It was normally a deep brown but because of football it had golden streaks in it and happened to make him look more masculine if that was even possible.

"Will you go out with me?" he asked annunciating his words carefully. "This Friday if you're free but don't feel obligated cause we're friends." he said fidgeting around.

I stared down at my lap and felt my face redden. "of course I'll go out with you." I said trying to calm my racing heart. Was this some cruel twist of fate? Was he only asking me out because he was taking pity on me? Nothing ever happened like this in New York. Harley High School in Hampsport, Montana (totally made up place. I was in sixth grade :P) was the best place on Earth right now.

"Great i'll pick you up at seven wear something fancy. I gotta go. See you tomorrow."  Aved said excitedly. He got up and kissed me on the cheek like usual before walking toward his friends who had beeped and were waving like maniacs. I laughed before getting up and heading home. As I walked and listened to my music I went through my mental choices for an outfit. I wanted to look my best for Aved. He was the only guy I happened to really like. I heard the roar of a huge 4x4 truck as it pulled up next to me and tried not to twist my face into an expression of revulsion.

"Hey, Axen do you want a ride home?"Jayden yelled as he slowed down to the pace I was walking. Jayden was also a guy who went to my school. He was one of the biggest players in my small town. He was cute in a very "I don't ever want to date you" way. Besides the fact that he wasn't my type he disgusted me with how many girls he dated.

"No I'm fine." I said as I kept my gaze forward.

"Come on, Axen. that incident was a long time ago and you taught me a lesson. I wont even touch you." He said, speaking of the time I had hurt him because he had tried to force me to go out with him. He had cornered me at my locker and I've had to take care of myself for awhile now so he learned a lesson in forcing a girl to do something she doesn't want. I just didn't like Jayden and he would sleep with anything that moved. Not that I wasn't pretty but I wasn't the conventional kind of beauty the kind that rarely ever happens to girls. I had corkscrew curly red hair that often got in my way and mossy green eyes that had unusual orange specks. I had freckles that were sprinkled over my nose and cheeks and down my arms and I wasn't too skinny or too chubby. I liked the way my body was proportioned.

"No, Jayden. I know you." I said, starting to walk faster.

"No I wont. Get in, I wont bite." he said with a smirk. As soon as he was done speaking thunder boomed and lightening flashed. Rain started pouring down in sheets and I cursed as terror went through me.

"No!" I said as my resolve started to weaken. Thunder cracked through the air again and sent my heart up to my throat.

"Get in the truck damn it!" He snapped as he sped up to catch up with me.

I cursed and ran over to the passenger side before getting in and swearing about my hoodie.  When he raised a brow at me I scowled. "It's my favorite." I snapped.

"Seriously?" he asked looking over at me. I shrugged.

"Yeah. Why would I say it if it weren't true.

"That's an ugly fricken hoodie." he said with a snort.

"Shut up!" I growled looking out the window and jumping at the lightening.

"You scared? If so you can hold my hand." Jayden said with a smirk. I scowled at him.

"Just shut your mouth." I muttered crossing my arms and glaring at the dash board as I tried to ignore the storm.

"Why did you agree?" He asked as he turned into my driveway.

"Why do you think? I didn't want to get struck by lightening." I said not looking at him. That had already almost happened once. It didn't need to actually happen. I moved for the door and he grabbed my arm, I swung and slammed a fist into his stomach glaring at him as he hunched over.

"damn it woman it was just a question." he said trying to sit back up.

"I don't like to be touched and it's none of your business." I said glaring at him.

"It is when you punch me in the stomach." he said rubbing at the spot I hit. I apparently didn't hit lightly.

"Wuss. The reason I don't like thunder storms is the same reason I moved here two years ago. Now drop it." I said before kicking open the door.

"Fine. You're welcome for the ride." he said frowning.

"Thanks." I muttered slamming his door shut before going up to my house. I unlocked my door, soaked to the bone and freezing. All I wanted was a hot shower and some sleep so when I saw a man dressed in black; much like a ninja, I was more pissed than scared. Today was not my day.
