(Time skip 1 year)

Your pov

Another morning, another day that the titans won't find us. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that we have been away from people...but lately I've been having dreams about a group of kids. A boy with brown hair and deep green eyes, a girl with amazing black hair and gray eyes, and finally a boy with sun blonde hair and ocean blue eyes. No matter how hard I think about them I can't figure out who they are.

"(Y/n)! You've been staring at the wall forever" Kelly wined. I glanced at the kids and then to my feet, true I had been trying to figure out their names recently, but I didn't know I had begun to space out.

Shaking my head I smiled

"Well, I have to go to town. We are running low on some food and I can't make it right away" I said still smiling. The children looked at me and smiled too.

"We wanna go too!" They cheered. I know they want to, but every time I go into town I hear the worst things.

Flashback

"Did you see those brats who got saved by some street rat" a fat man laughed to his friend.

"Yet another group we have to feed, they should have just died and saved us all the trouble" his friend laughed too. I was boiling with anger, so much hatred tward people, the ignorant fools! Without even thinking I kicked them on their ass.

"The hell do you think you are!?" The fat man yelled. By now there was a crowd of people watching, let them watch, I get them if they say anything.

"You men are sick! Those "brats" just wanted to live! If you've got a problem, then you go scale the wall and sacrifice yourself you bastard!" I yelled, tears threatening to fall.

"Wait isn't that the girl who saved them?" A woman whispered. I turned to face the crowd.

"Yes she is"

"Wow she looks pathetically weak"

"How could she have saved them"

"Why didn't they just die"

"We have enough people as it is"

"Shut up!" I yelled louder than I have ever before. The crowd looked at me, their eyes scanned my body once more.

"If any of you people have a problem with me, then come here right now" I said, venom dripping from my voice. The people backed away from me slowly and started to leave me alone. I turned back to the men on the floor with my hair covering my eyes.

"If you want to live, leave my family alone" I said with the same intensity. Like the cowards they are they ran away calling me the devil child. Whatever, like I care what a couple of assholes think.

Flashback over

"I'm sorry but it's a surprise what I chose to buy" I said winking. Putting on my only jacket that was covered in holes, that with my old shirt and pants from when I first found them made me look like a begger. I guess then no one would care about me, good.

"Zen, your in charge" I said leaving and locking the door behind me. I put my hood up over my face and covered my eyes, to avoid attention. Trudging through the woods was peaceful, the tall trees watching over us, the fresh crisp air blowing through my (h/l) (h/c) hair. What could be better.

Upon arriving at the center of town I spotted the scout regiment heading tward the wall. A wave of pain and sadness engulfed me, I missed my brother so much, they all looked like good men just like my brother was.

"Um miss?" A short boy with a shaved head was standing before me in a scout's uniform.

"Uh, sorry. What is it" I said emotionless.

"Wow, you sound exactly like someone I know. She's just as emotionless as you" he laughed, I tilted my head as he continued laughing.

"Is that all..." I said waiting for him to tell me his name.

"Connie, and you?" He asked.

"(Y/n)" I said. Connie cleared his throat and stood in a salute.

"I hate to ask but do you have any bread, my friend Sasha is starving" Connie said nervous. I remember a girl named Sasha from the wall incident a little over a year ago. She helped the kids get up the wall, I suppose I could spare some bread after all she's done.

"I do, please tell her I said hello and I hope she is doing well" I said handing him half a loaf of bread, his eyes lit up and he smiled brightly.

"I will, thank you miss (y/n)" he called behind him as he ran. I waved at him as he left and began the journey home.

Eren's pov

Where is Captain Levi, he sure is taking a long time.

"Sasha here, a girl named (y/n) told me to tell you she hopes your well" Connie said, I sprinted over to him at the sound of (y/n)'s name.

"Does she have (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes!?" I yelled. Connie looked at me terrified, he nodded. I can't believe it, she was dead years ago...

Flashback

(Y/n) is supposed to see her brother today, then we can hang out! Yay!

"Look it's the captain!" Someone cheered. When I looked into the road I didn't see (y/n), Levi looked worried as well. Mikasa, Armin and I followed captain Levi to their house. We were greeted by a woman with the ugliest face I've ever seen, behind her stood a man with a long beard and dead eyes.

"Where is (y/n)" Levi said coldly. The people at the door pulled out the pair of shoes she was wearing yesterday. Levi looked as if he had been shot, but the people who must be her parents looked as if it was nothing.

"Captain, where is she" Mikasa asked, Levi looked at us.

"Dead" he said colder than I even knew was possible.

"What" I said.

"Dead?" I whispered.

Flashback over

Her parents told us she was dead, but yet, Connie just saw her
