"Argh!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE THE HECK AM I AND WHY IS IT SOO DAMN HOT!?!?!?!!?!"
Akemi found herself screaming as she used her schoolbag to shield herself from the scorching midsummer sun. She was making her way home from school but she had taken a few wrong turns and now she was in the middle of a street she had never seen before.
The only things nearby where two business buildings, a bunch of empty lots, and what seemed to be a small traditional Japanese shop. She needed to get home soon but she had no idea where she was, so she decided to go and ask around. It was almost six, so she was sure the buildings where probably closed and as the lots weren't an option, she began walking towards the small shop.
Once she approached the entrance, seeing there was no open/closed sign with the shop's business hours, she decided to knock on the door and see if it was still open. When she got no response she decided to check if the door was locked, pushing against it and gasping in surprise when it opened suddenly. Akemi poked her head inside and checked if there was anybody on the other side, before fully stepping into the shop. She shivered a bit as the cool air from the inside hit her skin. It felt so nice compared to the dry air outside. After taking a few seconds to enjoy the feeling she then began to walk deeper into the establishment, yelling out an apology for coming in without an invitation and asking if anybody was there.
For a long while nobody said anything and seeing as Akemi couldn't see any phones around she decided to head back out and ask someone for help further ahead. However just when she was about to walk out once again, she heard a rustling from somewhere behind her and two young girls approached her. One had medium length pink hair. Her outfit resembled an angel's, with small wings on her dress. The other had long, baby blue hair in pigtails. And unlike the other girl, her outfit resembled a devil's, with little devil wings on her outfit. The girls held each other's hands with their faces close together as they sang in unison,
"Costumer! We have a costumer!"
Akemi frowned at their words. She hadn't actually entered the shop to purchase anything. She just wanted to get some directions or ask to use the phone so she could call one of her brothers to pick her up. But before she could explain any of this, the two little girls walked towards her and got hold of her arms, pulling her deeper into the shop.
"This way!" They said. "Master is this way!"
"WAIT! I don't actually want to buy something, kids! I... I was just trying to get out of the sun and get some directions, you know, maybe borrow a phone or something." Akemi told them trying to pry theirs hands of her arms with no success. The girls simply continued to pull her deeper into the shop until they were standing in front of a huge door.
The two girls then let go of Akemi to open the door before turning back to face her and pulling her inside. Once they had her inside the new room, the two girls yelled she was a new customer again before proceeding to run back out from where they had come from. Akemi sighed annoyed and looked around the room until she spotted someone, a guy it seemed, at the very end of the room. 'Maybe he is the owner of this place...' She thought to herself as she took a deep breath and proceeded to walk closer towards him so she could ask what she had came into the shop for in the first place. However, as soon as she found herself in front of him, Akemi's breath caught in her throat.
She couldn't move and everything around her seemed to go still as she stared into his eyes. She had never believed in those life changing moments that marked a before and after in a person's life or that things like fate and destiny existed. She had always thought it was a load of bull. However, as she stood there looking at him, there was no doubt about it in her mind. This could potentially be such a moment. She could just feel that somehow she was supposed to meet that boy, at that exact moment, time, and place.
