Chapter 1

Out from the short distance, awaited a house. The old house where Kylie thought it would be peaceful, filled with serenity to start a living. The way the cotton like flowers swayed in the soft wind and the grass glimmers with water droplets.

''Thank you!'' calls out kylie to the guy, as he hops back in to his tuck and drives off. As he leaves, dust kicks off the old dusty yellow road, and on too Kylie's black leather boots.

Hands on her hips, smiling she bends forward and picks up the cardboard box with a grunt. She walks forward on the pebble like ground, that made crunching sounds under her feet. Looking around, patches of endless-like grass surrounds her, with cotton like flowers.

Smiling, she soon got this eerie feeling, once she looks at the white huge house, that stands before her. She stares and shrugs it off.

-

CREAK!

She opens the chocolate brown door and whole of air whips her face. It sure did not seem welcoming. She looks around the rotted place. The table looked like someone was chipping it and scratching it with there finger nails. She cringes in disgust, and she hears a squeak.

She jumps and the things in her box rattle from her result. ''just a mouse..'' She tells herself, a little horrified of the house. But, she chose it. She wanted it.

Walking in slowly, she didn't notice the door behind slowly closing in. She could feel the air softly hitting her back and she turns her head to the door that was closed. Staring at it in confusion, she exhales.

She looks forward and begins walking up the creaky staircase. It looked like it was so weak that it could fall down any moment with her. Carefully, she reaches the last stair and she can see a room door in front of her.

She stares, and a shiver goes through her spine. She holds the box tightly on her stomach, her arms wrapped around it.

Kylie opens the white door slowly, and  peeps her head through the ajar door. With raised brows

she notices that a lamp was on

she notices that a lamp was on. Was someone keeping this room in such good shape? If someone was, who is it? She stares in confusion, and side steps in. She sees a bed that had two white pillows on it, a teddy bear that rested in the middle. She could tell that it was a little girls room.

She sighs and rests the cardboard box on the bed, it sits on top a folded quilt. The room had a cold lingering feeling to it, and the whiter dresser looked like it was rotting. Some of the old white paint was chipping off, and on the old carpet.

She looks around and sees a window, with small light peering in. She walks towards it, pulling up her pants. Gazing outside, it was empty. She couldn't see a person in sight, except for her. It gave her that lonely feeling. As if she were the only person living in the world.

She turns around and jumps when she hears the same squeaking sound. ''phew...looks like i'll be living with those, to'' But, she was forgetting someone. Someone, who's eyes were filled with revenge, and black darkness. That girl who watches her, secretly.

''there..'' She rearranged the bed covers and the room a little. So that it wasn't a little girls type anymore. It looked more suited for Kylie. Red pillows, and a white fluffed blanket. She smiles and looks over to the lamp that was flickering.

She walks over to it,  and tugs on the beaded string. But, it wasn't turning off. She could feel the heat radiating off of it. She crouches down , to the nightstands height. She tugs on the cable that was plugged in., and it  comes out.

Kylie puts the cord on the ground, and the lamp slowly dims off.

CRACK!

''ah!'' She jumps, and puts an arm in front her face as the light bulb shatters. Slowly, she takes her arm off that was covering her eyes. Her eyes trail down the old nightstand, and glass was laid on the ground.
