*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
I slapped the alarm clock in the living room and opened my eyes. The living room was super bright. Too bright for 8 in the morning.
"Morning." Shawn chirped as he walked into the kitchen.
"Ugh. I forgot you're a morning person!"
"Sorry!" he laughed. "Do you guys eat out for all meals?!"
"No. We don't really eat." I chuckled.
I sat up and stretched. I don't remember but I must've gone to the beach to play volleyball because I was wearing my spandex and sports bra.
"Damn." Shawn dropped his jaw.
"What?" I stared at him.
He shook his head. "Nothing." he smirked.
I walked into Kris room.
"KRISSSSSSSSS!!!!" I screamed to her.
"MMMMMMMMM!!!" She mumbled back.
"The wave are supposed to be killer today!" I announced leaning against the frame of her door.
She popped her head out from under the blanket. Her hair a mess and her makeup across her face.
"When?" Her voice was cracky from just waking up.
"I guess you'll have to get up to find out..." I smirked and walked into my room.
Shawn was laying on my bed, sprawled out.
"What time is your girls plane land?"
"3pm."
"Ok." I walked out of the room back into the living room. I turned on the tv and changed the channel to the today show.
"Stephhhhhhh!" Shawn whined.
"What?"
"Come here please."
"Seriously.." I whispered to my self. I got off the couch and walked to my room.
"Come snuggle with me." he used that damn pouty face.
"You're girl will be here at 3!" I plopped on my bed.
"I haven't seen you in 4 years god dammit! Come snuggle with me!"
"Hahahaha. No."
"Then I guess I'm just gonna have to do it anyways..."
"Wha-" Shawn jumped on me and held me in his arms. "Shawnnnnn!" I screamed.
"Nope." he put his head in the crook if my neck. I could feel his warm breath on my neck.
"Shawn please!" I begged him. He kissed my cheek and let me go. "Shawn you have a girl friend or whatever she is." I yelled in frustration.
"I know." he laughed.
"So don't be kissing up on me." I smirked.
I got off my bed and walked back into the living room.
"STEPH! GET READY WE'RE GOIN' TO THE BEACH!" Kristen yelled to me. I smiled and got my volleyball.
-At the Beach-
I put down my towel and Kristen ran for the ocean.
"Be careful!" I yelled to her. She threw me her usual peace sign and jumped into the ocean. Shawn walked towards me with our bags.
"Wanna play?" I asked tossing my volleyball in my hand.
"How about we just talk?" he put our bags down and took the volleyball out of my hand.
"About what?" I laughed.
"Well sit down and we'll think of something" he sat down and patted the space next to him.
I listened to him and sat down. I pushed down my sunglasses and watched Kristen surf.
"What do you want for your Birthday?" Shawn nudged my shoulder.
"Haha, I can't believe you remembered!" I smiled.
"Of course!" he yelled to me. "You're my boo!"
I couldn't help, but burst into laughter.
"But seriously! What do you want?"
"You coming to San Diego is enough." I smiled to him. "How are you going to even get me anything!? My birthdays in 7 days." I reminded him.
"I can still get you something!"
"I don't want anything."
"Ok, whatever."
"So who've you dated since I left?" I asked him. I was now facing him and he was facing me.
"You remember Erin?"
"Yeah!"
"I dated her and I just broke up with the girl who's coming today. Who have you dated?"
"No one.." I laughed to myself.
"You're lying."
"No I'm not." I stared into his brown eyes.
"Why?"
"Just haven't found anyone." I nervously picked at my nails.
"Why are you nervous?"
"What?"
"You're picking at you're nails." he pointed to my hand. "You always pick at your nails when you're nervous..."
"How do you remember all this?!"
"You're my best friend how could I forget?"
I just smiled. I forgot how happy I was when I was with Shawn.
"You know before you left, how I told you I loved you?"
"Yeah how could I forget..?!"
"I meant it..." he stared at me for a little waiting for my response.
"I know." I smiled. A smile appeared on his face too.
