Ch. 2 Teams and Acquaintances

As the morning arose, Murasaki slowly awoke, still bandaged up in bed. He made slow movements to try not to cause too much pain on himself. As he slowly opened his eyes to the slightly blinding sunlight, he heard the footsteps of people coming down the hallway. When he finally opened up his eyes, he saw the presence of both Professor Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch in front of him.

Murasaki: Oh, Professor Ozpin and Professor Goodwitch. It is nice see you again.

Ozpin: Mr. Murasaki, we are glad that you are doing a lot better from yesterday. After the show you gave all of us, you did quite a number on both Ms. Tarou and Ms. Harrow.

Murasaki: Thank you sir, I always give one hundred and ten percent in everything.

Glynda: Well, then you also gave one hundred and ten percent on the entire arena Mr. Murasaki and I hope you know that being a new student doesn't protect you from taking responsibility from that.

Miss Goodwitch crossed her arms and gave Murasaki a cold, disappointed stare. Murasaki in response to the comment, consoled her.

Murasaki: Yes Ma'am Miss Goodwitch, I will aid with repairs as soon as I have fully recovered.

Ozpin: That..won't be necessary. I will be able to take care of it myself. Don't you worry now, I understand that the destruction of the arena was of no fault of your own and were only trying to show the best of your ability.

Glynda: But Ozpin, I...

Ozpin: It's alright Glynda...let it go...Now then...we have some important matters to discuss with you.

Little did the professors know, Clipse and Momo were hiding outside of the room, listening in to the conversation.

There was a bit of silence and curiosity that got the better of Momo as she tried to lean a bit further through the doors but slipped resulting her falling on her face. She quickly dusted herself off and got up to see both professors giving her a confused look and replied back to them with a weak smile.

Momo: G-good morning Professor Ozpin and G-Glynda, I'm here to visit Murasaki and made him b-breakfast.

Ozpin: Good morning Miss Tarou. It's very nice to see you. You may come inside. *gestures to side* And Miss Harrow, do you care to join us? Momo did make a lovely breakfast.

Clipse: *steps into the room* Good morning, Professor Ozpin. Glynda. We were on our way to the arena to fix things up, but Momo wanted to stop by.

Ozpin: No need to fix the arena, as I told Murasaki, I will be aiding Professor Goodwitch with that task. Please come in, with having all three of you here, I can be able to discuss with all three of you.

Momo and Clipse both went to get a chair and sat beside Murasaki's bed.

Clipse: What do you have to tell us, Professor?

Ozpin: Well as you know, all three of you have fought each other to hone your skills for the rigorous training. However, so far, no other students have been willing to apply or had enough skill to compete with all three of you. Due to this, I have decided to make you into a team; a team of three.

Momo: Oh, w-what should our t-team name be?

Ozpin: From this point forward, you will be known as Team Malachite; lead by, you Miss Momo Tarou.

Ozpin lightly smiled as he gave her the news.

Murasaki: Congrats Momo!

Clipse: Congratulations, Momo.
