Matt
Riley had been acting very strangely after she got out of the hospital, but I didn't stress too much. I walk backstage and meet up with the gang, "hey dude, took you awhile" Nash said punching my shoulder, "seen Riley?" I ask him, looking around the backstage "nah man, haven't" he said and chuckled. I heard Bart's voice and realized that the show was starting and I would have to stop looking, "PLEASE WELCOME TO THE STAGE SHAWN MENDES" Bart yelled and people cheered, Shawn ran up to the stage and waved, "CARTER REYNOLDS!" Bart yelled again and Carter went on, "CAMERON DALLAS" there goes cam "AARON CARPENTER" there goes Aaron "MAHOGANY LOX" there goes mahogany, "NASH GRIER AND HIS BROTHER HAYES GRIER" there they both go, "TAYLOR CANIFF" more cheering, "JACK JOHNSON AND JACK GILINSKY" there go the jacks "AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST MATTHEW ESPINOSA" I walk out onto the stage and get pats on the back from the boys, fans scream and hold up signs, Bart gives me the mic and walks off stage, "Um hello, New York" i say and the crowd goes wild, "So this isn't gonna be your typical magcon, we've chosen this specific city to have some special things" i state then hand the mic over to Shawn "such as, a t-shirt canon to those lucky peeps who get a shirt, it's signed on the back with all our names, and one of you will get a chance to come and have dinner with us!" the crowd cheered and hooted, we did skits and Q&A and then ended the show. I walked into my change room and started looking for Riley, I got my phone and texted her
Matt: Riley?
Matt: you there?
Matt: hello
Matt: RILEY
Matt: Answer me
Matt: 😠😡😡
Matt: Answer me Riley
I called her five times but she wouldn't pick up. I kicked the chair then went out onto the stage "RILEY" I screamed and it echoed through the theatre. Nothing.

I sat in my room waiting for her, eventually I gave up and called her one more time and she picked up
"Hello?"
"Matt? Is that you?"
"Yes it's me where are you?!?!?"
"Matt I can't continue this"
"What can't continue what, talk to me Riley"
"I can't do this"
"Do what? Riley, hello? Riley where are you?!?!?! RILEY?"
The call ended, I ran out of the room and looked everywhere through the theatre. All the other boys were helping me search, "has she answered any of your calls?" Nash asked while we were looking through the costumes, "yeah, one she said she couldn't do it, but I have no clue what that meant" I stated, Nash straightened up and looked at me, he paused then said "Riley is gone by now, travel back to the hotel probably crying her heart out or something" I stoped looking and told everyone that me and Nash were going to the hotel to look. We climbed into an Uber and headed to the hotel, we hopped out and sprinted up into our room, "key card" Nash said and I gave it to him, we whipped open the door and looked through both rooms, "I think she's there" Nash stated then pointed to the balcony. We started towards the door and it opened, Riley walked inside and our eyes locked "hi, you ok?" I asked slowly approaching her, her eyes were red and puffy from crying, "Cameron got you chipotle, but he ate it" Nash stated and Riley weakly smiled, "what's going on, talk to me" I said and she said "I don't wanna be part of your little magcon lives, I wanna go home and live a normal life without you guys" I stood there in silence "oh ok" I said "that's not why" Nash stated and went up to Riley, "this is about you and Matt I can tell" he said then put his hands on her shoulders "don't lie Riley" he said then turned and faced me, "you two can have your talk" he stated and then strutted out.
