"Okay, you caught me." He said as he reached his hand up to the back of his neck. He stepped closer. "I'm only here for you." He stepped through the door way, closing the space between them. He snaked one of his hands around the back of her neck, the other against the wall behind her. He leaned in, his face was barely an inch away from hers. She could feel the warmth of his breath on her face. Her eyes flit up to his. His smile widened, she mirrored him, feeling a smile taking hold of her own face. His smile deepened and widened again.
The corners of his mouth split. Cracks began running all throughout his face. With a look of horror she saw the skin of his face slip away, revealing a dark green chitin underneath. She tensed. His hand on her neck tightened. He smiled a reptilian grin, sharp teeth poking out of the slit where his mouth should be. The rest of his human skin fell away, leaving a monstrosity in its place. The reptilian horror leaned even closer, forcing her flat against the wall. Panic flooded her as he leaned in to her ear. In the same human voice he had used before, he whispered. "Only you."
