True Loves Journey

One step closer to you

I know I said I'd update a long time ago, but I got busy, and I forgot and I had writers block and I just didn't know what to do. But I'm in the captain swan spirits now, cause Killian proposed and she said yes, so I had about 10 seconds of happiness.

The trees whipped past me. I heard foot steps and yelling chasing me, but I didn't dare look back. EMMA! EMMA! The voices yelled. At this point I didn't know if they were in my head or my family yelling at me. Suddenly the ground was getting closer as a sharp pain went through my ankle. I let out a scream.
"Bloody hell Swan!" I heard his voice as two strong arms picked me up and continued running. The pain in my ankle consumed me. It consumed me until my vision went black.
I awoke in a cold sweat. I was surrounded by various magical objects, and a sleeping Henry lay next to me. I sighed and smiled at the sleeping child. I looked at some of the things around me. Regina must have left them here when she went to bed. I picked up a small vial of liquid.
"Dragons blood. Use carefully." Was written on the label. I laid it on my bed side table.
" How am I gonna get him back Henry?" The two year old made a small noise and curled up even more, pulling his blanket even closer. The small blue square of cotton had been his fathers, and he immediately took to it. I sighed deciding I should go visit Killian and the others while it was dark. I crept out of my room and down to the cold dungeons. Again, I took blankets and a bit of food with me.
"Killian?" I whispered as I held my lantern up to each of the cells looking for my pirate.
"Swan?" I heard his familiar accent coming from a cell and I ran to it.
"Killian? Is that you?"
"Aye, Love. It's me." He grabbed the bars with his right hand and allowed me to hold on to the brace on his left arm.
"I'm trying so hard to get you all out. It's just...." A tear fell down my cheek. He lifted his thumb to wipe it away.
"I know love. But if this helps, I've memorized everything about this bloody dungeon. And the guards. " he proceeded to tell me everything about the dungeon and the schedule the guards took.
" I'll tell Regina. She's helping me control my magic so I can get you out. "
"Aye. I love you Swan." He looked at me like he never had before. It was a look that reminded me of how I had used to look at Neal. Pure love.
"I love you too. Pirate." I held his brace for a moment longer, placed a quick kiss on his lips, then left.

The next morning Regina and I met in my room. I told her every thing Killian told me.
"You need a sleeping spell then. Not a curse, the guards will wake up after a few hours, but it will still give you time to get them out. Then you'll need a cloaking spell to hide as you escape the castle. " she explained the magic I would need to learn. She told me what I needed to do for the sleeping spell.
"Imagine me asleep. In a deep sleep that I won't awake from for hours." I did as she said and when I lowered my hands and opened my eyes, she was asleep. I had accomplished my first ever spell. I was one step closer to freeing Killian and his crew. I knew I had to break him out. And with Regina, it is possible. I'm gonna get you out Killian. I promise.

Sorry it's short, it's late where I'm at and I'm tired, and I still have math home work that I haven't done. And science. And reading..... I need to get my crap together. Bye dearies.
