The Golden Trio sat at the Gryffindor table in the busy Great Hall. Ron shoved food into his mouth as Hermione watched, a disgusted look on her face.

"How can you eat so fast?" She finally asked, sneering from atop her book.

Ron swallowed a large amount of food before answering.

"It's a talent." He said, grinning. Hermione rolled her eyes.

Harry snickered as the two began to bicker. It seemed like that was all they ever did.

"You eat like a pig." Hermione said, crossing her arms.

"Why do you care?" Ron snapped.

"I care, Ronald, because it's unhealthy and absolutely unmannerly." She explained.

Ron rolled his eyes and looked at Harry pleadingly.

Harry understood the desperate expression and stopped the argument when he said, "Have you seen the newest Daily Prophet?" Harry asked.

Hermione shook her head. "No. Why? Did it mention you at all?" She quizzed.

Harry shrugged. "I mean, just a little."

Hermione sneered. "They really shouldn't write about you without your consent." She mumbled.

Before anyone could say anything else, Seamus Finnegan slammed his fists on the table as he excitedly sat down.

Ron jumped at the sudden noise.

"Seamus, what the bloody hell?" Ron exclaimed, staring with wide eyes.

"Look at this flyer I've found!" He said, grinning. A crowd of Gryffindors crowded around Seamus as he read aloud.

"Drama Club, to be taught by Professor Lockhart." He announced.

Ron groaned. "Lockhart?" He complained.

Hermione stared, interested, at the decorated poster, scanning each word. Her eyes lit up and a smile made her face.

"Taught by Professor Lockhart!" She exclaimed, her cheeks a bright pink.

Ron rolled his eyes.

"Looks like Lockhart got bored of being an ordinary professor." Harry said jokingly.

Ron sneered. "Oh please, there was nothing ordinary about that guy!"

Hermione glared at him, shooting sharp daggers with her eyes.

"What? He's delusional!" Ron defended.

"If he really was delusional, Ronald, Dumbledore wouldn't have hired him!" Hermione said.

"You're only saying that because you fancy him 'Mione." Ron muttered.

A pink tinge appeared around her cheeks. "I do not!" She argued. She turned her head from Ron and back onto Seamus, who was chatting excitedly with his audience.

"I'm joining." Hermione announced, placing her hands on her hips.

Ron sneered.
