When the next morning finally arrived, the Gryffindors were enjoying an early breakfast. The Great Hall was full of eager and excited students, most of which were awaiting the Hogwarts Theatre Club's role results. Just about every girl wanted to be casted as Juliet, and most boys already assumed that Romeo was taken by Draco, considering he was the best actor and most certainly best looking in the club. Although Harry wouldn't admit it aloud, he knew that Draco was indeed very attractive, and it wouldn't be hard for him to be chosen as such an important role.

''I'm so excited!'' Hermione exclaimed, grinning at her two best friends. Ron shrugged, obviously not thrilled about the results one bit. He assumed he would be another extra. Harry opened his mouth to say something, but was abruptly interrupted by a voice coming from the front of the Great Hall.

''Attention, students!'' A voice called, echoing throughout the entire room. Every student turned to face the headmaster, watching with curious faces. Dumbledore smiled, nodding his head in approval as he noticed he had everyone's attention. ''As you all know, auditions for the new theatre club took place yesterday. Professor Lockhart would now like to announce the roles. Good luck, all of you.'' He said, smiling as Lockhart stood beside him. The old wizard stepped away from everyone's attention, sitting back down at the teacher's table. Lockhart cleared his throat, opening a scroll and grinning.

''Good morning, students!'' He bid excitedly. The crowd responded with the same words, but nobody really meant it... all they wanted to know was the results. They waited eagerly for him to announce the main roles. ''Once I call your name, I'd greatly appreciate if you'd come here to display your looks.'' He said.

''Anyway, let's begin, shall we?'' He said, moving his eyes to scan the scroll. ''We shall begin with the important roles.'' He declared. ''The role of Tybalt shall be given to.... Ron Weasley!'' He announced, causing the ginger Gryffindor's eyes to widen. He was certainly not expecting this, and thought it rather strange he got such a big role. He gulped, his face burning as he stood. Harry pat his shoulder, proud of his best friend for being given an important role. Ron walked to Lockhart's side, everybody watching intently. The Slytherins all sneered, clearly annoyed that such a person was gaining such attention.

''And Mercutio shall be given to Blaise Zabini!'' He announced, causing the Slytherins to cheer loudly. Blaise walked to Lockhart's right side, right next to Ron. He smirked.

''And now, what everyone's been waiting for,'' Lockhart shouted, ''The role of Romeo has been given to...'' He paused himself, causing the audience to sit at the edge of their seats, anticipation filling everybody. ''....Draco Malfoy!'' He exclaimed, and an eruption of cheers came from the Slytherin table. Everyone else internally groaned. This was certainly no surprise-- everyone had already expected as much.

As Draco walked up in front of the crowd, Lockhart cleared his throat once more, causing the crowd to quiet down. ''We're not quite finished, students!'' He exclaimed. ''The role of Juliet, has been given to....'' He paused again, this time longer than before. Nobody had any idea about who Juliet might be, so which ever girl achieved the role was surely going to be shocked. Draco smirked, scanning over each girl who auditioned , wondering just who he might have to kiss for this dumb play. When Lockhart began to speak once more, Draco grinned mildly. ''...None other than......Harry Potter!!' He announced, but no cheering erupted. Everyone was shocked, and especially Harry.

Harry's eyes widened as his name was spoken, and just about every head turned to face him, their expressions confused and surprised. Harry began to blush, and he turned to face Hermione, who was shaking her head and placing a hand on her chin thoughtfully.

''...but that can't be possible...'' She muttered. Harry looked up to see Ron, who was gaping in absolute shock. His eyes slowly landed on Draco, who's eyes were wide and mouth hanging open, looking absolutely violated and shocked.

''Come on now, Harry! We're waiting!'' Lockhart said, causing Harry to break from his thoughts. He gulped, slowly standing from his seat and walking over to the professor, feeling the many glares burning into his flesh. He wasn't even a girl, and yet he was given the biggest and most popular feminine role in theatre? How insulting! As he reached his professor, Lockhart stared at him with adoring eyes.

''I'm proud of you, Harry! Now why don't you go stand with Draco?'' He suggested, pushing the boy gently towards the Slytherin. Draco sneered, taking a step away from the Gryffindor. Harry rolled his eyes, ignoring him as he was forced to stand at his side.

''And every other role will be listed on this flyer!'' Lockhart confirmed, pointing to the scroll he held in his hand. ''I shall hang it in the corridors! Now, go on and enjoy your classes! Have a fantastic day, my loves!''

At those words, the Great Hall broke into loud chatter, and students stood from their seats as they were dismissed by the headmaster. Ron turned to face Harry, tilting his head and still wearing an expression of shock.

''Harry, what in bloody hell!?'' He marveled, staring at him in complete disbelief. Before Harry could respond, Draco snuck up behind Harry and tugged on his collar.

''What the hell, Potter?'' Draco grimaced nastily, glaring at the Gryffindor harshly. Harry turned around to face him, glaring back.

''I didn't do the casting, I've no idea how I got the part!'' He retorted, sneering back at the Slytherin. In frusturation, Draco clenched Harry's collar, pulling him in closer.

''I'm not kissing you.'' He growled into his ear, harshly pushing him away. A pink tinge appeared around Harry's tinge as he remembered that he would have to kiss Draco... how revolting! He mentally gagged, speaking once again.

''You don't have to worry about that, Malfoy. I'm not kissing you either.'' He promised, curling his lip as the Slytherin narrowed his eyes. Draco turned around and walked away, clearly annoyed. After he was out of sight, Ron placed his hand of Harry's shoulder.

''Man, that sucks... You have to kiss Malfoy now...' He reminded, gagging. Harry groaned.

''Yeah, I know. Don't rub it in!'' He sighed. Hermione walked up to the two, her face just as puzzled as everyone else.

''How'd you do it, Harry? How did you possibly manage to kill the role of Juliet? I mean, you're a guy!'' She perplexed, causing Harrry to shrug irritably.

''I'd appreciate if people would stop interviewing me. I've no idea how I got the role!'' He complained, clearly irritated. Hermione frowned.

''I apologize, Harry, but this is just so unusual...'' She mumbled. Harry shrugged. His face was indeed still burning, and he wasn't sure what to think. Should he be proud that he got such an amazing role? Or should he be upset? He internally groaned once more. Why did things like this always happen to him? He gave an exasperated sigh as he thought of it.

He really didn't want to kiss Malfoy.
