chapter 4

Addie POV

"thanks" I said as I hopped out of the car racing inside he was just so nice and I knew if I stayed out there for a chat I might let him in and I just couldn't do that.

as I raced incide I came to a holt as I found dad in the same place he was when I left this morning I lent down to feel his pulse his heart was still beating and he was breathing fine so I stood up and walked not the kitchen. I grabbed something to eat and walked to my room I spent most of the afternoon doing homework and studding before finally going to bed.

the week flew past in a blur but it was finally Friday afternoon and the weekend was ahead of us. Justin had offered to take me too and from school everyday and most days I accepted it was nice to have someone to talk to other then Liv. I hopped in the car and waited for Justin to come so we could go home he finally arrived and we drove off.

"hey so how was your day?" Justin asked me

"yeah good" I said it was nice to have someone ask you the simple question and it felt like he cared.

"so don't you think its about time you give me your number?" he said with a chuckle

"hahaha yeah if you want" I murmured as I reached over and put my number in his phone. He looked at me and smiled,There was an awkward silence for a moment but then we just smiled and laughed it of as he drove me home we talked about everything and nothing it just was so easy with him. I never planned on letting anyone in but as I get to know him I know its only a matter of time before I break and tell him everything.

Justin POV

I dropped her of outside of her house which has become the usual routine this week and she smiled and waved as she walked inside. I can't believe she just gave me her number like that I think she might not hate me anymore!

J- Justin A-Addie

J- hey pretty

A- hey

J- r u busy want to hang out?

A- um sure,but what are we going to do?

J- do you want to come over and chill or something?

A- yeah ill be over in 20 minutes ?

J- yeah thats good see you then ;)

I can't wait to see her she's got this hold on me I can't explain.

Addies POV

I got ready to see Justin putting some shorts and a t-shirt and I grabbed my flip flops walking out of my room dad was standing there almost like he has been waiting there he started yelling about something I couldn't focus on the words all I could see or feel was pain as his fist hit my stomach I hit the ground the wind was knocked out of me I started to panic as I struggled to breath on the ground I started call out for help but he just walked away to get another drink.

Tears rushed down my face as I slowly recover dragging myself to my room I huddled in a heap on the floor I was numb this reminded me why I never et anyone in because I always get hurt.

Justins POV

it had been over an hour since Addie was supposed to be here thinking I waited long enough I sent her a test message

J- where are you

A- I can't come I'm not feeling well

J- do u want me to come over and bring you something?

A- NO just leave me alone ok.

this girl confused me so much one minute she's all smiles and laughs the next she won't even talk to me.
