Addies POV
I woke up in the same place I had gone to sleep crying I was all stiff and gross as I got up and walked to the bathroom. I I grimaced as I inspected the giant bruise on my stomach. Putting all my cloths on I decided to forget about last night and just get ready for school.
I walked to school avoiding Justin at all costs. I skipped home room and went straight to 1st period the rest of the day flew by fast. Then it was Gym I walked into the bathroom to get changed choosing the last stall, I walked in, since that morning the bruise had become darker with a more purplish tone it stung every time I touched it. I got changed fast and hurried onto the courts, we were learning basketball which I didn't mind because it was pretty fun.
Miss Ranya chose captains and then they got to choose the teams. I was surprise when my name was called out first looking up I realised Justin was the captain of one of the teams giving a small smile I walked over to my place behind him. The game was on now I was racing up the court I passed the ball a few times and even got a shot in the net we had about five minutes left when someone threw the ball and I acidently got in the way.The ball hit my stomach I felt all the hour rush out of my lungs as landed on my butt and surprise. Pain suddenly spread all over my stomach, trying to play cool I tried to get up Justin was kneeling beside me before I could make a move to get up.
"Hey are you ok " he asked in a husky voice
"Yeah I'm fine" I said and then winced in pain
Justin picked me up and made his way with me to the sick room where the nurse gave me a once over and said I was free to leave
"Hey you didn't have to do that" I said as we walked out
"I did it because I wanted to " he replied with a small smile. I felt a tingle feeling travel from the tips of my toes all the way up until I started to blush. I looked away in imbarassment I couldn't believe the lack of control I was having today. The 4 period bell rang and we went our separate ways to class. I walked into the cafeteria and landed face first on the ground. I couldn't stand this what had I done to the universe to make it hate me so much I could feel myself going red with embarrassment as I left the building in a hurry. Justin was quickly following behind me.
3 months later
In the last few months Justin has become my best friend we do everything together. I tell him everything, but what my dad is like because that would just upset him and cause drama that I didn't really want to deal with.
"So the party this weekend" Justin said as he walked up beside me
"What about it ?" I asked
"You going" he said as we walked
"Yeah of course I wouldn't miss it" I laughed
"Ok then I'll see you there tomorrow" Justin replied as he walked to his next class.
I can't wait for the party tomorrow it's going to be the first time I've let myself have fun in a long time.
