Chapter 3

JIMINS POV

She blushed again.
"You keep blushing like that i'm gonna fall in love" I giggled.

I already have.

She made a face and stood up.

" Let's go back to the cafe, i'm pretty sure my brother's waiting for me"

I stood up and followed her to the cafe. When we reached there her brother had already left, we decided to go inside and have a cup of coffee.

While she was drinking her coffee I saw her brother behind her holding a cake with candles on it. I was surprised but i kept quiet because her brother put a finger on his mouth signalling me to not say anything.

He gestured a countdown with his fingers.
3....2....1

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUU~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUU~~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAHYUUUNN~~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUU~~" Her brother and the staff of the cafe sang together and i clapped along.

She almost jumped from her chair when they sang, she gave out the widest and sweetest smile i've ever seen her make. It made my heart feel at ease. Her brother put the cake on our table and kissed her on the cheek.

" Make a wish sis" he said proudly.
She closed her eyes and put her hands together then blew out the candles.

" What did you wish for?" her brother asked.

She looked at me and said "Something i've wanted for a long time"

My heart skipped a beat.

She then cut the cake into equal slices and gave them out.

How could I forget it was her birthday today. You would think of all the time i was in love with her I wouldn't be able forget this one day.

"Happy Birthday" I said. "I'm sorry I didn't get you anything"

She smiled "That ice cream was enough, Thank you Jiminnie"

DAHYUNS POV

I gave Jimin a piece of the ice cream cake.

I enjoyed watching him eat, he's adorable even when eating. He looked up and caught me staring at him. He eyesmiled me and went back to eating. My brother who was sitting beside me elbowed my arm.

He wriggled his eyebrows at me.

"What i'm just looking at him?"

he rolled his eyes and made a stupid grin.

" This cake is really good" Jimin said.

" Why aren't you eating any Hyung?" he asked my brother.

" Oh no thanks, i'm lactose intolerant but I know Dahyunnie here likes ice cream so i bought it anyway"

I thanked my brother and hugged him again.

After another hour spent in the cafe, my brother decided it was time to go home. We got our things and headed for the door.

JIMINS POV

"Alright, I think it's time we headed home" Hyung said.

They got ready to leave, as did i.

"It was nice meeting you Jimin" said her brother.

"See you next time Jiminnie" she flashed a smile and they both went out the door.

I was left alone again, in the cafe. She walked out of my life again. I'm not letting that happen this time.

I ran towards the door and tried to find her. I spotted her and her brother heading for the parking lot.

"KIM DAHYUN!!" i shouted with a smile.

She turned around.

I stood in front of her breathless.

"If you want, maybe we could go on a date sometime?"

"A date?" she asked.

"Yeah, like go to the movies and stuff like that" I was still trying to catch my breath.

She smiled and nodded "Sure"

"How about Saturday at noon?"

" Dahyun lets gooo" her brother said whining.

" Saturday at noon, here's my address"

"Great I'll pick you up"
