Chapter 4

JIMINS POV

I'm so nervous. It's our first date together and my brain is in a million places at once.

I started listing out things that could go wrong, things i should say, things i shouldnt say etc.

I got out of my car and knocked on her door.

*Knock Knock*

Her brother opened the door.

"She's doing her makeup"

He looked at his watch.

"It's gonna take like two or three... days, so why don't you come inside"

He made his way to the living room and I followed him. I sat down on the sofa awkwardly and scanned my surroundings.

"I'll fix you some tea" he said gingerly.

I looked around and saw pictures of her as a kid, her graduation pictures and some photos with who I assumed were her parents.

I sat back down just as her brother came back with some tea.

"Are those your parents?" I asked gesturing to the photo of Dahyun and a middle-aged couple.
"Yeah, they're on a vacation to Australia i think"

I raised an eyebrow "I think?".

"Yeah they travel a lot it's kinda what they do, that's also why me and my sister are really close. It's mostly just us"

I nodded and took a sip of my tea.

DAHYUNS POV

I just finished with my makeup and headed downstairs to wait for Jimin. Halfway down the stairs I see him talking with my brother.

"Jimin!"

He looked in my direction and stood up.
He's so handsome.
He smiled at me as I dashed down the stairs.

"You look pretty" he said.

I blushed and looked down.

"UGGGHHHH go be cheesy somewhere else" my brother pushed us both out the door.

"You two kids have fun mmkay bye!" He shut the door in our faces.

There was an awkward silence.

"Uhmmm, shall we go?" Jimin broke the silence.

" Okay" I laughed.

We headed to his car and he opened the door for me, what a gentleman😊.

He got in the drivers seat and started the engine.

" Where do you wanna go?"

" Idk hmmm... ahh let's go to the amusement park, it's movie night tonight, they're showing that new movie!"

" To the park we go!!"

He started driving.

" Does your car leave a trail of slime behind it when you drive?" i asked.

"No... why?" he looked confused.

"Cause it's moving like a snail, step on it grandma" I laughed.

"Hey, better safe than sorry, and put on your seatbelt" he said.

"Yes officer, I saluted him"

He laughed and whispered under his breath.

"You're perfect"

i pretended not to hear it, though i couldn't help but smile like an idiot.
