Aimee's POV
I slowly woke up and opened my eyes to be blind by the bright sunlight. I groaned and stretched out. I grabbed my phone to see that it's 9:30 AM.

I decided to go on twitter and scroll through some tweets until I ran across one from Ross.

'She's perfect for me 💛'

I couldn't help but smile. I clicked the like button and turned my phone off. I got out of bed and walked downstairs.

"Morning" I smiled to Connor and my mom. "Someone's happy" mom smiled, giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Yes I am" I smiled back. I sat down and mom looked at me. "Um, Connor. Can you go upstairs. I wanna talk to Aimee about something" Mom says, getting serious. She also had like a nervous tone.

Connor walked upstairs and mom sat down in front of me. "Aimee, I think I should tell you something"

Okay. I'm getting nervous. I slowly nod, meaning to let her continue. "You know how the Lynch's kept saying that you looked familiar?" She asked. I give her a nod.

"That's because they've known you since you were a baby!"

"what?" I asked, confused.

"We lived in LA California before when you were a kid. The Lynch's were our best friends. They would always babysit you and Connor for me and they've helped me through so much. Well, one day when you were about 12 I was taking you over to their house but we got in a really really bad car accident and you were in a coma for a month. When you woke up, you couldn't remember anything. That why you can't remember what happened to your dad and you don't remember the Lynch's" She says.

I chuckled. "stop! You're lying!"

"No I'm not Aimee!"

I got up and ran in the back yard to the pool. I sat down, sticking my feet into the cold water. I let a few tears slip. I've know the Lynch's before? How could mom keep this a secret.

After a few hours, someone sat next to me sticking their feet into the pool water. "Hey Aimee!" The voice said. It was Ross's calming voice.

I slowly looked up at him to see him smiling. "You okay?"

"What are you doing here?" I asked, wiping my dried tears away. "Well, I texted you like 2 hours ago and you haven't replied back so I got worried and decided to come over and check up on you. What happened?" He asked, with concern in his voice.

"We've known each other since I was a baby!"

"That's another reason I came over. My mom told us too and told us that your mom was going to tell you so I wanted to make sure you were okay about that" He says.

I looked at him with sad eyes. "How can they keep this a secret from me?"

He wiped my tears away with his thumb. "I don't know Aimee. But nothing is going to be different between us or my family" He says. I couldn't help but smile. The next thing I know is that he kissed me.
