Chapter ten 💝

After a bit of talking with our fellow nerds, Emily and I decided to head upstairs. Since Raven said to be up there in about 30 mins, it's only been about 20, because I was thinking we could grab a bit of food on the way up, since the kitchen is near the stairs, and we'll  get the munches.

We walked through the crowd of dancing people towards the kitchen and stairs. The song "Heathens" by Twenty One Pilots was playing, but it was the bass remix, which made it so much better for the party.

While walking through the crowd, with Emily followed right behind me, I seen Chase with a group of girls. No surprise. I whispered to myself, because it's not like anyone will hear me anyways.

We finally got to the kitchen, where I was waiting for. Food! There were multicoloured mixing bowls with all kinds of different chips, cans of pop/soda, water bottles, paper plates, and of course some red plastic cups.

I brought Emily to the long table, with all the food on it, then told her, "grab as much as you can carry!"  I laughed and so did she.

I found some plastic Zip Lock bags on the counter. I took this to my advantage, and grabbed some luckily it were the larger kind. I took 4, for each kind of chips to stuff into them. Emily also took the same amount of bags and did exactly what I did: shove each kind of chips in each bag to its limit, then took a Pepsi each.

Soon enough, we walked upstairs, and looked around the hall way for Raven's room. It was at the end of the narrow dim hallway, to the left.

We heard a bit of laughing from behind the light purple door with a sign that read, "RAVEN'S ROOM,"

We knocked on the door and heard Raven yell, "Come in!" Still with a. It if laughter in her voice.

I opened the door for Emily to walk in first, and then I walked in closing the door right behind me.

"Glad you guys could join us," Raven greeted us both with a hug, before gesturing us to come sit.

It was more than obvious that she was already high, along with the rest of the people around the room. Most of them I didn't recognize but a few I did including Chase.

Ugh why does he have to be here !?

I sat down on the bed, across the room from that "one of a kind" fuck boy.  Emily soon followed to sit closely next to me.

I blushed at the fact she was so close to me, our shoulders wee touching as well as our thighs.

Ik looked over at Chase, and he smiled at me. I had a strong erg to smile back, but I didn't want to. His smile was great, it lined up perfectly with his jaw line. I let a smirk out, but then quickly looked down towards the floor. Until I felt a soft touch under my chin and on the side of my cheek. The touch soon brought my head up, and made me turn towards Emily. Her touch was so soft and delicate. I loved it.

"Hey you ok?" Emily asked worriedly, while looking me straight in the eyes .

"Y-ya I'm fine" I paused, drifting my gaze, to everyone else, they were all looking at us. I then continued, "I just-"

I was interrupted by Emily, not by words but by touch.

Emily's soft lips, pressed against mine, letting everyone in the room wondering why? They were all looking, was this her plan?

So many things went through my head at this very moment.

""Did she care that people were indeed staring at us? Watching us kiss? Did she care what they'd think of us? What about the strangers in here? This would be a great first impression. But then again they are all high as fuck but I know Chase definitely wasn't.. the biggest thing is Why? ""

All my thoughts, were multiplying by the second, until I heard Raven, call out, "Ooooo" while obviously watching.

Leave it to Raven to make things weird and awkward.

Emily broke the kiss, with her hand still on my cheek. I opened my eyes, and moved my eyes to look at the crowd watching us. The best reaction I seen out of this was Chase's, his eyes were wide, and had "shocked" all over his face. That part made me giggle and bring my attention back to Emily, still staring at me, with her beautiful eyes.

"Well..." an unknown female called out, while sitting in a camping chair, over near Raven. "Pass the weed around !"

Everyone laughed and regained focus on the green stuff in the blue pipe, as they passed it around with a red lighter...

"This will be interesting," Emily whispered, while giving me a light hug and turning back to face the crowd.
