"So, you and Teá getting on good then?" Percy asked next to me.
I looked at him, and I could see the smirk on his face when he saw my red face. To be honest, thanks to him, me and Teá had gotten closer as friends and it helped clear my mind of worries for a while. I knew Percy spoke to Teá about hanging out with me, but I thought there was more to it than that. Teá would look at me sometimes and she would just smile, which actually made my heart flutter like mad.
"Actually, we're doing great," I said, as I adjusted my bag pack. "We've gotten a lot closer. Thanks to you."
Percy smiled, and I could see a slight twinkle in his eyes. "Well, I hope that I helped as much as I could. Besides, I can see that it's improved your mood." He hit me playfully with his elbow.
"Thank goodness," Yami said as he materialised in between us. "I was beginning to get worried that those two wouldn't get along. Teá and Yugi are two very close friends, and I would be slightly concerned if they weren't together. And besides, I'm looking forward to see how he handles tonight's date with her."
"Yami, you weren't suppose to say that!" I exclaimed in embarrassment.
Percy guffawed and laughed. "Tonight's date? Jeez, you sure do work fast with Teá."
He and Yami laughed, while I was left red faced. But I could see how those two were interacting with each other. It really did seem that Percy wasn't phased by Yami's presence, and Yami wasn't actually wary of Percy anymore.
"What about your duelling?" I asked quickly, changing the subject. "Have you finally mastered your new deck?"
Percy pointed at his belt, where I could see three deck holders, each of them completely black. "I've split all my cards into two separate decks - one for my dragons and tuner monsters; another for my warriors and my spellcasters. I could make a combination out of them, but then again I'm not sure. My most powerful deck so far is my Blue Eyes deck, but I'm giving that deck a break, so I'm using my warrior and spellcaster deck."
I smiled. "I'm guessing it has something to do with your newfound friendship with Black Luster Soldier?"
Percy reached into his Chaos deck and pulled his spirit monsters card out. "Hell yeah. This guy has proven to be my second favourite card out of all my cards put together. Without this guy helping me, I could never have beaten Pegasus."
"You sure couldn't," his monster said, appearing right beside him. He then gave Percy a mock hurtful look. "But what's deal with the second best monster you've got? Am I not your all time favourite? If I'm second, then who's first?"
Me and Yami laughed at how Percy and Black Luster Soldier talked. It was like seeing two friends just play fighting and arguing with each other. In answer to Black Luster Soldiers question, Percy pulled out his most powerful monster - his Blue Eyes Shining Dragon.
Black Luster Soldier glared at Percy. "I'll let you have that one."
Percy shrugged. "Don't worry, you're still the deck headliner of my Chaos deck."
Black Luster Soldier scoffed. "I better be, otherwise I'll haunting you in your sleep."
Percy laughed, and soon was his spirit monster.
I could see now that he was kind to his own monsters and he was practically treating them well.
Just then, we stopped in front of a card store. I suggested earlier that we go into this store to find some new cards. I was practically excited because according to Percy and his friends there was a female version of the Dark Magician and I was determined to get it. Percy agreed full heartedly, and we were about to enter when Percy stopped suddenly.
