Hey, everyone.
I've been receiving tons of requests to update this story as quickly as possible. And as much as I want to, I can't. Now, before you shout profanities at me in the comments, I just want to lay down my defense.
1. Writer's block
For a few months now, I couldn't write anything new and innovative. I couldn't think of anything that relates to this story. And even as the editor-in-chief of our school's newspaper, I couldn't do any original work without the help of the school directress giving me orders. I forcefully write originals if I really have no choice, and it pisses me off that I wrote something without my full devotion and my feelings in it. I just couldn't write anything down.
2. Busy schedule
With March being the end of the academic year here in the Philippines for most schools, I've had a lot on my plate. Thankfully, I finished my first ever research paper, and passed my tenth grade finals with flying colors. In the end, I was ranked #5 out of sixty-eight students in our whole batch. My requirements are done, but I still have things to do. Our recognition day is on the 23rd, and so is prom night. So, I don't believe I can update as soon as I can.
3. Mental issues
Recently, according to my Moodcast, I've been feeling down a lot. As someone with bipolar disorder and depression, it's hard for me to cope with sudden mood swings. As much as I hate it, I have to take a break from things.
Be rest assured, however, that I have not given up on any of my stories. I still have hope that I can finish this one before the year ends. I'll try to update, but it might be short and meaningless, so I won't force myself to do any writing while I have a dryspell.
Thank you guys for the support and the reads. It's beyond me that I could reach out to that many readers. I hope you all understand, and that you have a wonderful day ahead!
Signed,
Barkimedes :)
