It was one of those days where it was so cold that every breath you take is almost as painful as getting hit with a
snowstorm repeatedly until the pain almost becomes numb.

Everyone hated the  rainy season. The wind was cold and it slaps you right across the face when you least expect it to. It was a torturous feel .

But I was not like most of the people of Ravenshill.  In fact I was nothing like them .  Every single woman in the kingdom looked the exact same way . They were all starved to death thin . They had ungodly amount of make up on , that usually made my eyes cringe everytime I come across one and  If not for my firm rule against not dressing up with sheer so called "silks"I was sure their would be not a thong that would cover their modesty!

The women were all  about 5.9 tall with pale death kissed skin and white snow blonde hair just above their shoulder blades.  If not for their eye colors I was sure I would have utterly been lost .

The men where nothing different,  they were all tall , their muscles too big that I sometimes wonder what will happen if they snap .  They were all pale skinned as well .

If there was one thing that I hated more than the kingdom which I ruled itself, it would be my people's skin tone. It reminded me of my past.
It reminded me of 'him'.

The reason why I love these deadly cold weather is because on a day like this  10 years back , I put an end to him and won my freedom .

Yes, I killed the king of Ravenshill and I won my freedom.

15 years back:

Cheztoron: (A small village in the outskirts of Ravenshill).

"Cara stop!"
I heard my older brother Wen  yell behind me as I giddly ran more faster towards the big Green forest.

" Cara wait! You should not be out here ! Cara come back!"

His screams where becoming louder and louder . I knew he was stronger and would get a hold of me soon enough and so I ran faster with all my might.  My breath became shorter and more frequent . I felt my blood rush through my veins.  My palms where tightly closed and a fresh set of sweat beads coated my skin. I closed my eyes before running as fast as I could .
"I am almost there "
I chanted to myself as my feet met the ground below me in a fast rythumic pace.

Everyday I asked and begged my papa to let me go into the forest and everyday he would say 'no'!
I did everything.  I did my house chores correctly and I even went to school properly but my papa seemed as still as an undisturbed sea  . Whenever I bring up the topic of going into the wide beautiful forest his tender eyes turned steel cold and he grunts  out a no. I lived in a small house just a few hundred yards away from the witchmaple forest.  It was a big vast land covering over  thousands of meter. We were 7 people in our home and I was the third youngest in my family. I had one older brother named Wen and one older sister who we called Felola   and followed by the triplets  including myself.   The triplets were a very rare thing to occur in our land and people considered us as a dark entity.   We were all girls but that was not the thing that made the villagers fear us.  It was our eyes and our hair color that made them cry out and run on top of  the hills.  It was blood red  . Our parents were a natural snow blonde and so were our other siblings.   They all had a wide range of eye color from ivory to pale blue but nothing compared to the dark red irises we were born with.  Even our skin tone was a bit different. In fact we had much more melanin compared to any one in Ravenshill . Our skin was olive tanned and our features were much more prominent.   When me and my sisters were born they said that it was a blood moon day and that it had something to do with our looks. My papa was one of the high scholars of the palace and so he never believed in such atrocities . He was bold enough to educate his children and grow them up in such a way that they can make their own decisions.
