Chapter 8: Photoshoot

I can already feel that today's gonna be amazing. I thought about it and I think I'll start posting my photography on the internet. A lot of people got noticed that way so why shouldn't I try. But my real goal is to show the world my art not to gain fame or money.

''Morning.'' - I said to Bella who was doing her makeup in front of the mirror. ''Morning, Cam.'' - she said turning around and smiling at me. ''Do you have any plans for today?'' - she asked me and I smiled because I knew exactly what I was gonna do and who was going to help me. ''Yes, actually, I do.'' - I said and turned around completely after finishing. ''And I was wondering if you can help me.'' - I said and she gave me a questioning look.

''I wanna take some photos and start posting my work on the internet. Do you want to help me by being in those photos.'' - I asked and her eyes started sparkling. ''Really? That'd be awesome. I just need to finish my shift at the coffee shop and I'll meet with you okay?'' - she said and I couldn't be happier.

I started getting ready and soon we were both done. Today I was feeling like red so that's exactly what I'm wearing. Red skinny jeans with a white tanktop, white shoes with red stripes and a red flower crown of course. Bella on the other hand was completely in baby blue and white. ''Hey, try this.'' - I said giving her my blue flower crown.

She went to the mirror and put it on her head. It matched perfectly with her blue eyes and blonde hair. ''See? You look amazing now.'' - I said and she smiled and hugged me. ''I like your style, flowercrown.'' - she said winking at me. ''How'd you know that nickname?'' - I asked. ''Jackson.'' - she said and then left to work.

I grabbed a backpack and started getting what I need for the photoshoot. I put my camera around my neck and got a blanket, some food because we'll probably get hungry. I grabbed the backpack and left. I knew exactly where I'm gonna take the photos. I went to my secret place in the forest behind our house.

I looked around and in the spring it's most beautiful here. Birds are singing, flowers everywhere and the water is sparkling. I dropped my backpack and put the blanket near the lake. I took the food and made a little picnic. It was now noon and Bella's shift is ending soon.

I texted her and she said that she and Jackson are on their way here. I sat on the blanket and just admired the beautiful nature until I heard them yelling. ''Hey guys.'' - I said as they made their way towards me. ''Hey.'' - they both said.

''You ready, Bella?'' - I asked and she nodded. She started posing near the trees, on the blanket, near the water, then she sat next to the flowers and with her flower crown that I borrowed she looked like a beautiful flower next to the others.

I took a lot of photos which was really fun and she enjoyed it too. Jackson kept looking at her the whole time and I think he likes her. I better ask him later haha.

After we were done with our little photoshoot I took a few photos of just the nature and then we sat on the blanket. I brought a little basket full of snacks so we started digging in after all the hard work. We ate, talked and laughed and I haven't been this happy in a long time.

Soon it was getting dark so me and Bella headed to my house while Jackson went to his. We snuck in and soon were in my room. She went to the bathroom while I started importing the photos from my camera to my computer so I can edit them tomorrow. I might even show some to our photography teacher and see what she thinks before uploading them on the internet like I had planned.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow....
