Chapter 3: The change

Today I woke up very happy and I haven't been this happy since I came out. And the reason for my happiness is Shawn Mendes. I really need to learn more about him later.

I got dressed and went to eat breakfast. As I was eating I remembered the day before and my meeting with Shawn. He was really kind and sweet not like most of the celebrities who are fake as fk.

As soon as I finished I went upstairs to my room and opened my laptop. I stared at the picture of us together and printed it out. I put it on the wall and felt so good after that. Now I can look at him every day. I'll never forget his words and I believe that someday our paths will cross again.

I quickly googled him and saw that he recently signed with some music company and has one single out called Life of The Party. I listened to it and completely fell in love with his soft and angelic voice.

I spent another hour looking through interviews, reading his biography and what not. I wanted to learn more about him and this was the only way. I found him on social media and started following him.

I DMed him and thanked him for yesterday and sent him the picture of us. I'm not sure if he will respond but did it anyway. He is right and I really need a change. I need to be myself and not some fake person so that people will like me.

It was time for a complete change. First thing that came to my mind was shopping. I went out and bought myself a lot of new clothes that I liked and felt comfortable in. I also hesitated a bit but I bought a few flower crowns too. I've always wanted to wear them but I was scared what people will think. Thanks to Shawn now I don't even care.

After that I went and got a new haircut. I felt this new change instantly and I loved every single of it. Started b changing my style but there's so much more I need to change so I can be myself.

I went home and put my new clothes in the wardrobe while taking the old ones and putting them in a few bags. I quickly cleaned my room and look at the picture of me and Shawn and smiled.

I grabbed the bags with old clothes and went to a foster home and gave them for free for kids who really need them.

After that I decided that I want to work on my body so I stopped by a gym and talked to the guy who's gonna get me started. He accepted me and I thanked him.

But most importantly I enrolled photography classes. As Shawn said I need to follow my dreams and that's exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm starting tomorrow and I really can't wait. Someday I'll become a professional photographer and people will love my work.

After all the new adventures I did today I went back to the special place me and Shawn went to and just stood there for hours thinking about my life and what I can do to change it. This place became even more special to me after I was here with Shawn and what he did for me.

After I watched the beautiful sunset which I love so much I went home just to be greeted with my so "loving" family. This time I didn't let their attitude and words affect me. I shut them out and thought only about what Shawn said.

I went to my room and made myself comfortable on the balcony. I put some blankets and laid there. This is one of my favourite things to do. Lay under the stars and watch the moon.

Just as I was drifting to sleep I saw a shooting star and wished that I meet with Shawn again and that someday I'll become a professional photographer..
