The first day of a new year: the most part of drunk and asleep men, tired women, children sleeping so late... Apparently, there was a lot of calm in the surroundings. However, he wasn't there. He had left Trelos asleep and he was gone since 5:00 am. He decided to go to his parent's home; some years after his graduation went to see it, it was in ruins. The owner was an old and unpleasant man who sold the house to him for a high price, despite his damaged appearance... Although, immediately after he bought it, the old man disappeared 'Mysteriously' just to reappear dead, strung up in a tree with his own innards. The lawyer went to the burial but nobody else attended; maybe killing him hadn't been a bad idea completely, after all, nobody loved him.

After 2 hours walking through the forest, he found it. He hadn't had the chance to redesign it completely but at least, he put the glass to the windows and changed the wood of the floor. He came into the small house by the zillionth time. That nice and warm place that sheltered his earlier childhood. The little hut where his crazy moments took place. The home where some lives were lost, where men, women, and children had left the world because of the man who was standing up that moment. The cold was penetrating with a big force but when he closed the door, the cold decreased. He inhaled that lovely smell that the house had obtained: iron, coagulated blood, humidity and some coffee.

He didn't spend a lot of time there. There had passed half an hour since he arrived until he left the place. Trelos woke up because of a noise that attracted his attention: a broken glass. He stood up immediately and saw through the open door to discover what that noise was. He found a stone on the floor and pieces of glass. His breath stopped, his heartbeat increased and in a blinking, he was hiding in the wardrobe.

So, he heard steps and whispers; whatever it was, it was so bad.

-We must find that scum- Said a pale skin and width muscles man

-Are you sure that he is here? -Asked another man that seemed to be weak

-Of course, I'm sure! That lawyer left the house alone two hours ago and I don't think that he'll return soon

That words shocked the boy but he almost cries when he heard:

-As soon as we give his head to the boss, sooner we'll get the money he promised... so, keep looking for. Remember: when you find that bastard, stab him in his heart. Trelos will only live some minutes more and when the father arrives, it will happen the same to him.

A tear fell down his face when the steps were near he was. He moved away from the wardrobe's door with his hands in the back, when he felt something cold, he explored it whit his hands and found a blade. When he saw what he had in his hands, he felt surprised. He didn't know if he was surprised for having a chance to defend himself, for the beauty of the device or because of the fact that a lawyer had it in his house.

The lawyer was walking through the street when he noticed that the window was broken. He started to run and with a kick, he knocked down the door that had been locked with a chair. Clearly, that scene was strange. He was afraid of finding the dead body of Trelos on the floor, covered with blood and mutilated without compassion. Instead of this, he found a cadaver and an injured person aside. In the other corner, he saw a child covered with blood, crying and hanging a nice knife with a sultan style that the lawyer had bought in an importation shop three years ago.

-Trelos! - Shouted the man while he was getting close the boy

After 2 hours, the grown-up asked Trelos to pack, save the things and organized himself. Meanwhile, he ended the life of the injured man and wrapped the bodies. He went out to look for a transport and he returned with a small wagon that one of his friends lent to him and enough supplies for 6 weeks. They would need it, the next morning.

At midnight, the grown-up charged the vehicle with all the things, including the bodies. The house was empty and the boy was sleeping on the floor.

-We're going to leave in some house, you better sleep son.

-I killed two men, I stole two more lives- Said the boy whispering

-I'm sure that you did it for a good cause; If you didn't do it, I would be dead also. You save me.

-What will happen now?

-Clearly, they won't stop until they see you dead, so, I will do it. I will declare your death. For that, we'll live in another place

-I'll be legally dead, but, what about you?

-It doesn't matter. I have fixed some things without problems. We just have to keep You hide and some years after, when everything has been forgotten. We'll come back. Now, let's go to sleep. We're going to leave this place in three hours.

Once the boy fell asleep, the lawyer went downstairs to the basement and started to save his treasures. For the moment, Trelos didn't have to know his secret but he couldn't give them up. When he was ready, he put his things in the wagon and leaned. A long day, a hard future and some restless nights were waiting for them.
