Okay, so I have a feeling/theory that the name 'Eragon' for the book was totally an accident and the result of a typo. I think the author meant to type 'Dragon' at some point in time, but accidentally hit they 'e' key instead of the 'd' key right below it, resulting in the word 'Eragon'. The word sounded so cool that he decided to use it for his book.
But it's just a theory and I STILL haven't gotten around to reading the books (You have permission to slap me in the face) so what am I saying? It's merely conjecture, but tell me what you think!
