K-mart

"There's a gas station up here you can go in there." The woman in the drivers seat said.

I laid there trying not to draw attention to myself. I mean I don't know these people and they don't know me. I have no Idea where I am.  I'm fucking terrified.

I stayed quiet for what felt like forever until they pulled the truck over.

After the two got out of the truck I crawled to the front seat. I quickly looked around, through the center console, glove box everywhere. They had a map, some twinkies, and a bottle of water. 

I  jumped when I head someone tapping on the window. 

I pulled the door handle letting the girl in. 

I held out my knife to her and she put her hands up in surrender. 

"We're not gonna hurt you. We just wanna help you." She said as I crawled across to the driver's seat.

"Who are you?" 

"I'm Addy." She smiled.

"Listen I get that you're scared. I would be too if I woke up in a truck with people I didn't know. But I promise we aren't gonna hurt you." She explained.

I nodded and she smiled.

"So you got a name?" She asked.

"It's  K-mart."

 (Yes I know that's a character on Resident evil and yes she is loosely based off of her.)

"Why am I here Addy?" I asked putting my knife back in my pocket. 

"Well we seen you fall. So we stopped. My friend he wanted to make sure you were okay-"

"Who?" I interrupted.

"10K." 

I nodded and we were both quiet for a little bit more until I finally spoke up.

"C-can I go meet them..Your friends?" I asked. 

Almost as soon as I asked she perked up.

"Yep." She smiled before opening the door and helping me out. 

It felt like they were all watching me. Honestly it was terrifying. 

"Good morning Sunshine." The older man laughed.

I smiled at his remark before Addy pulled me over to the group of three men by the vending machines. 

"Doc, Murphy this Is K-mart."

"K-mart? What the hell is wrong with these kids." Murphy complained, Only to be scolded by Doc. 

"And K-Mart this tall lanky loser is 10K." She laughed as she slapped the boy's shoulder.

He was about to say something when the driver lady shouted for everyone to get back in the truck. Something about Puppies and Kittens.

As they all ran for the truck I stood there completely dumbfounded. 

I guess the 10K boy noticed I wasn't there and he ran back for me.

"Come On We Gotta GO!" He shouted grabbing my arm dragging me to the truck.

So sorry this is so thrown together kinda but I had 3 different ideas for how I want her to meet the group and this seemed to be the most reasonable. I mean one was really out there it involved a gun and everything. Also sorry these are so short I try to like keep on track and not repeat words but I can only get so far with my limited literary knowledge and really shitty Ideas. Again I'm always open to suggestions so don't be afraid to hmu.
