Chapter 5: Breakups and A Dress

So apparently Friday is homecoming .....ugh
I have always loved dances, seeing as I didn't have a care in the world but now I can't bring myself to go

Casserole: Hey are you guys excited for homecoming?
Lexi and she's knows it:Yass
The lochtess monster: no...I am not going

Casserole: yes you are Tess
Lexi and she's knows it: Tess do not make us come over there and drag your sorry ass to the mall
The lochtess monster: fine....😒
Lexi and she's knows it: meet us at the mall in ten

At the mall

"Tess, come on just try one dress on please!" Cassi begged for the billionth time

"No."

"Please..."

"No."

"We'll buy you food..." damn... why do I have to love food?

"Fine" I say walking over to the little black dress section
I found a cute dress, it was knee length and had some lace on the top
I ran around my idiotic best friends and into the changing room

The dress... fit just right and wow.....

I heard a couple of wolf whistles as I walked out
"Hot damn..." Cassi and Lexi said at the same time

"This should work or whatever" I say dismissively
I quickly changed back into my clothes and went to pay the cashier when I heard a whiny voice

"Well if it isn't little miss fatherless ?." The bitch said

" hello to you too Madeline, now if you excuse me I have to get going."

"Where? To daddy's grave?"

I was about to respond when Blake stepped in

"Really Madeline? Making fun of someone who lost their father?" He asked

"Babe...what are you doing in here?  I thought you were in the food court." She asked carefully

"Do not call me babe, you selfish whore!" I looked at Blake astonished by what he said

"Wait, are you.... are you breaking up with me?" Madeline asked

"Yes I am .... let's go Tessa" he dragged me out of the store and into the food court

"I'm really sorry about Madeline" I say quietly

"Hey," he says tipping my face up " It's ok, I was going to break up with her anyway...."

"Well then, thank you for saving me and good day." I run to my bike and text the girls

The lochtess monster: I already left....am tired, heading home.

Once I got home, I took a warm shower.
I put on some leggings and one of my dad's shirts and went to sleep
