after the whole incident i had been locking myself up in my room.
when chris came home (which by the way i found out is on saturday and he's coming with his band members) i didn't want to face him so i had decided on locking myself in here.
"your brother is coming tomorrow morning and i don't want you locked up in your room the entire time. do you understand me?" she said strictly.
"yes mom" i sighed as i finished applying my mascara. i was already running late for work and i didn't have the time for a lecture.
i know what you're probably thinking 'why don't you have your own place?'
well you see i've thought about it but i'm too attached to my mom so...
"have a good day at work" she sighed and gave me a small hug before getting ready for work herself.
i quickly ran downstairs and into the kitchen where i got my bag and an iced coffee. i was going to need it.
i grabbed my keys off the key hanger and quickly closed the door.
my work was about five minutes away and i had to clock in at 10:00 and it was 9:58.. i guess it's time to break some laws.

the five minute drive turned into a three minute drive and i quickly threw off my seatbelt and grabbed my stuff before running inside.
it was 10:02 by the time i clocked in and i let out a deep breath.
the manager didn't care if we were a few minutes late. if we were 20 minutes late then it would be a problem.
i went over to my small locker where i put in my bag and took out my brush belt and then closed the locker.
"late i see" my friend and co-worker abby teased "shut up" i mumbled and we both laughed.
usually it was only about six girls working here. two working the registers, one working at the brown bar, and then us.
between this time and one is when it was the least busiest so we just chilled by the cash registers up until that time.
pretty soon one rolled around and just like i said customers started pouring in.
i stood at my usual spot which was a mini counter by the too faced section. "hi, welcome to ulta!" i heard abby's cheery voice said.
a boy came into the isles. he had black hair and was dressed... well in black. "is there anything i can help you with?" i asked after a few minutes of seeing his frustrated and confused face.
"yeah i need something for my girlfriend. she's kind of mad at me and she loves makeup so..." he said quickly. i laughed a little before taking him over to the abh section. "does she have any products from this brand?" i asked.
he thought for a minute before answering "yeah, tons of it" he said "alright well this just glow kit just came out and i highly recommend it" he looked at it before nodding
"okay i'm just gunna get her some face masks and a few lipsticks" he mumbled and i laughed.
"thanks for the help... mercury" he said as he looked at my name tag. i smiled at him as he walked away.
