We locked eyes and
Saw the stars
He grabbed my hand and
We took off running
Full speed ahead
Didn't stop to think
Didn't care what happened
We just ran
We came to the edge
He jumped
I stopped
I got flashbacks of
How hard the ground is
What it felt like lonely
Down at the bottom
I watched him fall
And he called my name
I can't jump
I won't jump
Tears fell from my eyes
I love him but I can't jump
He continues to fall
He tells me he'll catch me
That I won't hit the bottom
But I won't jump
Too afraid to fall
He says he understands
That he doesn't regret jumping
And he'll wait on me forever
Then one night in a dream
I jumped
I woke up falling
I didn't scream
I didn't panic
Because I knew that
He was there
To catch me
