He’s always been pushed around, it’s come to him just staying away from everyone else. He’s lost the smile he used to share, he’s lost the happiness he used to be so fond of. He can’t reach past the pain he’s encountered time and time again, he wants to escape. He needs to be free.

He’s had to continuously forget himself. He’s had to throw away the key to the cage where he locked his true self away. Now he wants to break the cage, now he wants to go back to his innocence he once had, the time where he wasn’t constantly tortured by the dagger-like words of others that constantly cut him down.

Everything he’s become is everything he now fears. He needs to somehow find a way to go back, back to who told jokes, the boy who laughed. Now he’s the boy who was caught in his own lie.
