Even Though... ~ Ban x Reader (SevenDeadlySins)

(Y/n) yawned sitting up from her bed in the Boar Hat. She looked around, Elizabeth had already made her bed and left. (Y/n) got up and dressed into her day clothes, made her bed then headed down to the main area of the Boar Hat.
She smiled as Ban set down a plate of food on the bar when she sat down. Ban then turned back around and continued cooking. There where already other people in the bar eating and drinking. Meliodas was walking around serving people, and Elizabeth was taking orders.
(Y/n) quickly ate her food and then headed out side. After a quick conversation with Diane about what was planned for today (Y/n) went into the town that the Boar Hat was placed next to and went shopping for food supplies.

A few hours passed and (Y/n) made her way back to the Boar Hat the morning had been peaceful and she entered the bar and placed the food she had bought while shopping on the table.
Meliodas grinned walking up behind (Y/n), however he was hit in the head before he could do anything. Gowther walked inside with Diane and Merlin. Ban had taken the food (Y/n) had brought and placed lunch for the group on the table as a thanks.
Everyone sat at the table and started eating. The normal madness started and everyone messed around while they ate and had odd conversations. (Y/n) had taken her food elsewhere, sitting at the bar behind Ban while he cleaned.
"I could do that if you want to go eat." (Y/n) suggested while taking another bite of her food. Ban shook his head.
"No need I'm almost done anyway." Ban said as he dried off a pan before stepping away from the sink. He turned and grinned at (Y/n). She had brought a plate of food over for him so it didn't get eaten. (Y/n) silently ate her food as Ban thanked her and walked over to the rest of the group and ate.
(Y/n) stayed where she was, although she quite often stayed with the group of sins she wasn't truly part of the group. She was just friendly with them.
The group finished eating and everyone cleaned up, (Y/n) waved bye as she headed off. She kept to herself, worried that if she got to close to the group she would want to stay, however she knew more about them then they would ever know about her.
(Y/n) was mostly interested in Ban, however what she had learned worried her to bother him with any feelings she might have, and she continuously reminds herself that he lost a lover and might not want another one. Even though, she always ends up going back to visit the group because of her growing curiosity for him, every time she tries to learn more about the group, often asking Gowther questions.
(Y/n) was the kind of person who waited and learned before trying to do anything, normal ending in her disappointment, she tended to wait too long. It had been around a month when the sins saved her, during a battle she ended up getting injured badly to defeat her enemy. Hawk found her and brought her to the Boar Hat where they helped her get back into good health.
(Y/n) tried every time she visited to help out, however the group seemed to think she had done enough, but she kept using it as an excuse to try learn more about the group.

A few months after her last visit (Y/n) arrived at the Boar Hat once more after learning its new location. She entered quietly, the restaurant/bar was full and filled with cheerful chatter. Meliodas, Growther, and Elizabeth tended to tables while Ban and Merlin worked on food. Diane and King talked in the corner or the room not really doing anything. (Y/n) leaned on the wall by the door and watched quietly while waiting for a seat to open up. Ban seemed to notice the (s/c) girl and waved her over. (Y/n) walked to the bar and smiled looking at Ban who handed her a drink.
"There's a stool over there if you want." He said pointing to the side of the bar he was on. (Y/n) nodded before opening the half door on the bar then heading to the stool off to the side and sitting down. She drank while watching Ban and Merlin cook, often looking around to see what the rest of the group was doing.
"I always wanted to know..." Ban paused as he flipped over some food that was on a pan, "How do you always manage to find out where the Boar Hat is at?"
(Y/n) pause and thought for a second, "Well the Boar Hats movement doesn't go unnoticed so I just wait until I hear something about where it's at, I don't tend to stay in one place so if it's near by I visit." She spoke in a gentle voice while listening to the lively surroundings.
Ban nodded and continued to work. Afterwhile, the bar cleared and the group worked to clean up with the help of (Y/n). King kindly reminded (Y/n) that there was no need for her to keep coming back to help however she shrugged it off.
(Y/n) sighed and sat down on one of the chair, everyone following in suit.
"You seem to get more business because Ban is cooking." Gowther said, "It might be because of Meliodas's lack of cooking skill."
"I agree." King groaned. (Y/n) nodded and laughed. Everyone chatted for a while and then headed off to bed. Around midnight (Y/n) woke up and went down to the Boar Hats main area and got a glass of water before going outside and sitting in the grass. She smiled and looked up at the sky, noting the different constellations that she saw in her head.
Humming softly she took a sip of her water, the liquid wetting her dry throat.  (Y/n) set the glass down and started to stand up when a hand touched her shoulder, without hesitation she grabbed the hand and slung the entire person in front of her and stood pulling her sword off of her hip and pointing it at the person.
"Damn. How dare you scare me?" She laughed at the grinning silvered haired man in front of her.
"Nice reflexes," Ban chuckled, "and I didn't think you were strong enough to throw me. How about we fight?"
"No thanks I'm tired." She said putting her sword back on her hip and stretching then sitting back down.
"Why are you up?" Ban asked looking over at (Y/n) who had layed on the ground and fallen asleep, "Oh..." he sighed and laughed before standing up and picking her up.
"So even though you know about all of my past you still trust me enough to pass out while I'm here?" He said walking back into the Boar Hat caring the (H/C)ed girl.
