"I want her to feel equal to me," Kara finally whispers. "I don't want her to be scared of my strength when I go to kiss her or feel violated by my x-ray vision... or... when I use my speed to do something.... I just want her to feel safe with me... Kara Zor-El."

"Why do you say it like that? You can control your powers Kara," Alex askes confused.

"Alex do you realize how hard that is, and to add to it, how nervous I get around her." Kara argues.

"Kara I didn't mean it wasn't hard, I know it is, I just meant, you've been working with controlling them for a while now."

"I know that Alex, I just... don't want to let my self resistance down for a second and accidentally hurt her or something." Kara's hand automatically most to her face to adjust her glass when she remembers they aren't there and huffs out a breath.

"Kara, I know you're worried, Lena's safety has always been one of your priorities, and you have good reasons for it, but the person you should be talking to about this is Lena."

"I know."

"Then get up and go talk to her already." Alex says impatiently, she finally seems to be getting tired with Kara's stalling.

"What if she doesn't understand?"

"Understand what?" Alex questions confused.

"I just want her to be able to understand me for me and not my powers... look I know she see's Kara Danvers as a great friend and supporter, and Supergirl as this awesome crime stopping superhero, but what is she going to see when she finally meets... me?" Kara's head falls back against the door as she stares at the flickering light in the closet."

"Who are you kara? Are you Supergirl, Kara Danvers, or Kara Zor-El?"

Kara thinks about the question. Who am I?

"Look you don't have to answer that now, just know that I think she will love you no matter who you are?"

"You think so? I just... I'm so scared Alex," Kara says, vulnerability leaking in her voice.

"Well you can't live in fear, Kara, you more than anyone must understand that." Alex says.

"..."

"Kara?"

"..."

"KARA?"

"Oh my Reo" Kara bolts straight up on to her feet. " I... I... Reo," head shaking, she begins laughing. "Alex you wonderful, beautiful sister of mine."

"What?"

"You're right, I need to... face my fears... and talk to her," kara laughs even harder. Sound a little borderline insane.

"Why are you laughing?" Alex asks while beginning to question her sister's sanity. It like her mood swings never ended after puberty. She thinks to herself.

"Lena had said the exact same thing not to long ago." Kara answers dreamily, she's thinking back to the day Lena told her those very words.

"Well then I guess that's a sign. You should really go see her before she starts to question if Supergirl actually called you or not."

"Yeah, I just need a moment to think of what I'm going to say." Kara stares at the door with determination.

"Okay, well just be honest with her and don't hide you feelings Kara. You may be the most expressive person I know but sometimes the most secretive." Alex says click off Kara's earpiece. If we need her, I can just turn it back on. She thinks.

Kara stands in the middle of the janitor's closet trying to her gather up all the courage she can before going out and talking to Lena. Trust and honesty. That's all I really need going in there. Kara thinks, she fixes her shirt and pants, opens the door and walks back to the elevator.

By the time Kara reaches Lena's office she vibrating with nerves. You can do this Kara. She's your friend. Your best friend to be honest. So lets get this over with.

Pulling out the hair tie from her hair she lets herself into Lena's office. Blonde hair flowing down her shoulders and all.
