SKYLER'S VIEW ⤹

IT WAS THE NEXT MORING, and it was Sunday so we had a day to rest and explore the city more.

I got up and took a shower. After my shower I put a towel over my head and put on my clothes.

After that I got on my phone and texted my old friend Rissa and told her what all has happened so far. Waiting for a reply I took my phone off the charger and went to Naomi's room.

"WAKE UP" I yelled banging on her door before barging in

"Whyyyy?" she groaned still in the bed

"Because I said and I'll need help waking Jae up"

"Good luck" she says putting her blanket over her head

I rolled my eyes and went over to her and ripped the blanket off of her and opened her curtains.

"What?! You got a better view than me" I say pouting

"Leaveeeee" she whines but i shake my head, "Not until you get up, take a shower, and get dressed " I say crossing my arms waiting for her to follow my instructions

"Fine mom, but I'm taking a bath" she says while going into her bathroom that was connected to her room and turning on the bath water

I decided to help her out and pick out something for her to wear, having her style in mind.

I picked a pretty chill outfit

I neatly folded them to put it on her bed. I walked into her bathroom and sat on the counter while she was checking her bath water.

"I picked out your clothes for you, they're on your bed" I say.

"Thanks" She replies while putting in a bath bomb, she gets towels and signals for me to leave so she can get undressed.

I hop off the counter and leave her to do her business.

After Skyler left the bathroom I put on my playlist and relaxed a little bit. Sinking down into the tub more and putting my head back I let the water isolate me.

A few minutes later I got up and washed my hair then my body. I washed off and drained the tub.

I put my towel around me and went into my room to change into my clothes. I put my hair products in and then walked out of my room into Jae's.

"Still not up?" I ask looking at Skyler who's sitting on the floor with a pillow.

"No!" She stated, " I tried everything!"

"Everything?" I ask

"Yeah!"

I clear my thoat "OH MY GOD WE RAN OUT OF RAMEN"

Jae springs up and jumps out of bed "REALLY?!?"

"No, but nice to know that you're awake" I say sitting on her chair in the corner of the room" I say

"Huh, I guess I didn't try everything" Skyler says amazed

"I hate you guys" Jae says rolling her eyes. " Hurry up and take a shower so we can go explore" I say throwing clothes at her

"Hopefully we see some cute people" She says before disappearing into her bathroom to take a shower.

"Wouldn't doubt it " Skyler says while waking out of Jae's room to give her privacy. I follow her and we go into my room where the bucket list is.

"We should at least try to do something on the bucket list everyday" I say

"If we can" Skyler says looking out of my huge window. I walk over to it with her and look out of it, "It really is a pretty view" I say.

"Do you think we'll make any friends at school?" She asks

"Of course, we might even be popular because we're foreign"

"But you were already popular before we left"

"That's a lie..."

" Is that why you knew everyone's name and everyone knew you?"

"I just have a lot of friends..."

"That means you're popular."

"Nooooo."

"Yessss!"

The door opened and it was Jae wearing a very dark outfit.

"Colorful," I say jokingly to her.

"You know the fucking vibes," she replies sitting on my bed.

"That's that period shit" I say, "anyway, you guys ready to explore?" I ask walking to the door.

"Hell yeah" Skyler says getting up and following me

We walk out of the house and make our way down the busy street. Cars pass us and occasionally honk.

"Where should we go? " Skyler asks

"Bighit" Jae exclaimes

"Something realistic," I say

"That abandoned building right there" She points to a few blocks over. "Good eye" I say and head to the building.
