When I got out of class, I tried hard to avoid Noah, but it didn't work. When I was in my locker, exchanging books for my next class, someone touched my shoulder. Hoping it was Elle, Lana or at least Ana, I was proven wrong.
"Hi, you said we could talk now. . .?" Noah said a grin on his face.
"Yes. I did. But why would you possibly like to talk with me? I've never seen you in this school, like EVER. How could that possibly be possible. Are you some kind of FBI eagent?" I replied slamming my locker door to make sure it closed.
"No. I'm not some kind of FBI agent" he said while letting a laugh out. "And I'm new this year. Don't you know the fact of new students on school."
I guess I didn't notice school was starting. But the thing was that it was September and people usually come on August.
"Then why haven't seen you since August?" I said locking my eyes with his blue ones.
"That, unknown girl, is because I moved recently to California and this was the most recommended high school" he replied while pulling up the sleeves of his hoodie. Just by seeing his arms I could see he worked out. I could see his veins popping out as he held his fat chemistry book on his hand. Snapping out of the thought, I realized that he was waiting for my response.
"I'm sorry, can you repeat what you just said." I said a little embarrased and hoping he didn't realize why I got distracted.
"I said, what was your name. And I see you got distracted by my--
"Cheryl" I interrupted him, trying not to get him to say the word why I was distracted.
He looked at me strangely and I think it was the fact that I interrupted him from saying the last thing I thought he would say. I guess I couldn't judge him by the way he looked.
"You know, you aren't the way I expected you to be." I replied
"And what did you expect I would be?" he asked a little curious. Somethig I totally expected he would say.
"I thought you were the kind of guy who didn't like to brag about how handsome he is. But I guess I was proven wrong." I said without a problem.
"Did you just called me handsome?" he said with a smirk on his face.
When I realized that I just DID called him handsome. I embarrassdly said "Ummm. . . I have to. . . go . . . to my class . . . so I'll just . . . see you . . . around"
At the way I was talking he laughed and just said "Yeah. I think I'll see you at lunch"
"Ok" I managed to say trying not to sound as embarassed as I did when I tried to get him out of my sight. You know, I did sound embarrased and he DID notice so. . . the best thing I could do was to get him out of my sight. Simple as cake.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
When lunch came around, I went to my locker and got my lunch. The lunch in the cafeteria was awful. Unless it was the last day of the semester. I guess they were so happy that school was over that they did the best food. Heading to the cafeteria to find Elle, Lana and Ana someone blocked my way.
"Hello, buddie" Noah said with a smile plastered on his face.
"You know, I really thought you were the quite guy who liked to stay in the shadows" I replied.
" Well I didn't talk with anyone because I didn't have any friends. But now I have one!" he said while pointing his index finger to me.
"I guess you do"
"See, Cherry? That's the first step of making friends, accepting it." Noah said as I laughed, becuase he said my name wrong. Trying to mock him a little I said
"Well, you should ask Cherry to be your friend. You can introduce her to me too. When can I meet her?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, that my name isn't Cherry my name is Cheryl." I replied while I started to walk to a table.
"Oh. . . I'm sorry" he said a little embarrased.
"Don't worry. You are the first one to call me that, so I can't say a lot of people call me that" I said while smiling at him. He obviosly smiled back and replied
"Where are you going?"
"I don't know, to find my friends."
"Perfect! Now I can make more than one friend on one day." he replied jumping while we walked.
"Calm down. You don't want to look like a kangaroo and embarass yourself." I said while putting my hand on his hoodie. From there I could feel his abs. I guess he was really strong. Not wanting to embarass myself again, I quickly took my hand out of his hoodie and kept walking.
I felt a little nervous at the sight of Elle eating with Lana and Ana. I guess it was the fact that she didn't like Noah. I really hope she can make some arrangements becuase it looks like Noah isn't leaving my side.
