Chapter 8

Niall's POV

I returned to the hotel around 9 pm.I dozed off during the trip when Paul gently tapped my arm,waking me up."We're here Niall." I mumbled a quick thanks and made my way to the front desk.I really felt bad about turning down my offer to Georgina.I really didn't want to...I just really needed to go.Uncle Si gave me a task to write new songs for our Midnight Memories album.Not that I'm complaining but...I'm also  human.And I can feel exhaustion.

I opened our hotel room silently.Everybody must be asleep already,because everything was still and quiet.I made my way to the kitchen and almost had a heart attack! Everybody was there,laughing and playing a game of Monopoly.Even Georgina and Diana were still there.

"Hey mate! We didn't see you coming!" Liam said,handing me a strawberry milkshake.

"We were just playing a game of Monopoly.There are three players left.Georgina,Louis and me." He explained."Who do you think is in the winning streak?" I asked,although it's very clear what he's going to answer.

"Me of course." He replied,making me chuckle.

"Take that Georgina! Oh-ho-ho! Revenge is sweet baby!" Louis exclaimed while Georgina sank to the floor. "NOOOOO!!!!! NO,NO,NOOO."

"Bring her down Boo Bear! SHOW NO MERCY!!" Harry cheered,pumping his fist in the air.

"Go G! Don't mind those wierdos wearing pink paint on their cheeks.YOU CAN STILL GET BOARDWALK!!!" Diana shouted,while giving Harry the 'look'

"Hey...Isn't anyone going to cheer for me?!" Liam asked,looking baffled at the situation.On cue,me and Zayn shouted "Go Liam! Go Liam! GOOOOO LIAM!"

Georgina smirked at me "You call that a cheer?" I raised my eyebrows at her.I'm seriously starting to like this girl."What do you call a cheer then?" I asked her.

"G! STOP GETTING SIDETRACKED! OUR GOAL IS TO BEAT THESE TWO NITWITS ON OUR SIDES!!!!" Diana screeched,making all of us laugh.It's nice seeing her relaxed and not all tense and hushed up.She's way too fun to be with.Plus,she's kind and wierd.In a good way.And she also looks like a rule follower.But I seriously don't mind.

After an hour later,Georgina won,which caused Louis to be tearful (although he claims to feel sleepy but his face obviously shows dissapointment and frustration), a beat up Liam and a very happy and more radiant looking Georgina."Well,let's call it a night."Harry said,yawning in the process.Diana looked worried though "G,we can't go home at an unearthly time like this! Mom will go livid!..."

"You want me to drive you girls home?" I offered to both of them.Georgina simply smiled and shooked her head."It's okay Niall.You look completely drained to me.Get some rest,we'll figure something out."

"No it's okay.I'm cool with it."I replied,rubbing my eyes hastily,trying to get rid of my sleepiness.Unfortunately,Diana saw it and chuckled "No seriously Niall.We'll just take a cab." She answered back.I merely sighed "Alright thn,if you insist..."

"How about I drive you girls to your houses?" Harry suggested.I suddenly felt curious and alive.Since when did Harry ever volunteer to HELP? Not that I don't trust Harry.He's one of my best mates but...I know his image and I KNOW what might happen.I don't want thse two pretty girls to be his latest victims.Especially Georgina...

I quickly snaked my arm on Georgina's waist,making her blush profusely."Thanks for the offer mate but,they're absolutely fine with me." I snapped back.He blinked twice and shrugged "Okay then.Take care." He smirked and walked away.I didn't let go of G yet and Diana was already on the verge of screaming and squealing.I put a finger on my lips and motioned for D to follow me and Georgina outside the hotel quietly.She got the message and followed us silently.

Georgina's POV

"Thanks Niall!" I said,giving him a big,bear hug before leaving his car.I was already on my doorstep when Niall called me, "Hey G!"  

"What?" I asked.Before I know it,he was standing right in front of me. "I think you forgot something."

I checked my purse,cardigan and my pockets.Everything seem to be in place."What do you mean? The last time I checked I brought my purse with me." I waved it in front of his face,making him laugh."And I still have my handkerchief either."

"That's not what I meant." he replied,closing the distancebetween us.OH MY GOD.Is it? Will it really happen?

He interrupted my thoughts by kissing me,softly on the lips.At first I was so shocked,I didn't respond.But then he bit my lower lip,causing me to moan and he gained entrance.Our lips moved in synch and for a second,I seem to be living in Cloud 9.Away from Emma,away from professors,away from everything that's bad...Living in a world where its just me and Niall.

He slowly moves away,making me feel cold all of a sudden."So...tomorrow?" He asked,his voice raspy.I nodded,my forehead still touching his."Tomorrow." He smiled and pecked my lips before he  moved back to the car.I waited until his car turned right and vanished from my sight.I sighed happily before entering our house.I quickly showered,only after kissing my brother on the cheek and pretended Emma didn't exist.After a few seconds,I got into my regular outfit of pj's and oversized shirts when I met Miko,on my bed,jumping excitedly and tried to lick my face. "Easy there big fella!" I laughed,while tackling him.

"I miss yooooouuu." I told him,touching the back of his ears as he tried to lick my face but failed again."Not now Miks." I cooed.I looked at him,paying much more attention to his face."You have the same eyes as his..."I said,lost in thought and unmindfully making my way to the patio,Miko sleeping in my comfy rug.I went out of my balcony and gazed at the stars.I was about to climb to the roof when I heard footsteps ascending the stairs.I dashed into bed and pretended to be asleep.The lights flickered on and for a few minutes,I thought he/she'd be gone.But instead,I felt someone tuck a loose hairstrand behind my ear and kiss me on the forehead.

"Goodnight G.I hope you will realize how much I love you." Emma's voice registered my brain.I was so tempted to open eyes and see her expression,wether she means it or not.Luckily,Vincent called her from downstairs about a phone call fom Mr. Robert.

"Alright,I'm coming!" she shouted back and went out of my room after switching off my light,leaving me to dwell with Niall and Emma on my hea, all throughout the windy night.
