"Come on Ollie..." Liv whined as she leant over the side of the railing, I looked down at the waves crashing below me and I thought about all the times we had jumped before, it was such a thrill, feeling like you could fly... even if it was only for a few seconds.

"Sorry Liv, not tonight, it's getting dark and the weather radars are going off!"

I said as I tried to persuade her not to jump, as the waves were getting increasingly bigger due to the storm rolling in.

"Well if your not going to jump with me than I'll jump by myself." Liv exclaimed.

I sprinted over to the railing on which Liv was sitting on moments before, only to catch a glimpse of her before she was swallowed up by the waves below. I searched for the familiar colour of her bright red hair among the waves, but for once I just couldn't find it, where was she?

I did the only thing I could think of in that moment... I jumped in after her.

I hit the water and the unexpected coldness took my breath away. It took a moment for me to get my bearings and figure out which way was up. As I did my lungs expanded filling my body with oxygen as I cleared my head, adrenalin pumping through my veins.

"Liv, Liv where are you?" I called hopelessly into the night. I could feel the ocean pulling as a new set was rolling in and I took a breath before diving under in search of my daring sister.

The salt stung my eyes as I searched below me but all I could see was darkness, I swam down deeper and deeper but the darkness engulfed me. My lungs were on fire as I resurfaced and I felt dizzy and completely hopeless. I looked around me to find that I had been dragged out farther than I had realised, so much so that the rocks on which I had jumped from were just pebbles in the distance.

Light filtered from the rocks and cheers erupted as I saw Liv being pulled from the water, my relief was short lived as the realisation that I was now the one in trouble hit me with the force of the wave that came down on me.

The darkness beckoned and laughed at me as the wave pulled me under and the adrenalin in my veins ceased to be. I try to fight the urge to give in but as the lightning lit up the sky above I shut my eyes and give in to the darkness.

"Ollie, Ollie?" I feel hands on my shoulders and instantly feel safe, safe but confused. The hands on my shoulders start to shake me into consciousness, I open my eyes to find blue eyes just like mine looking down on me.

"Ollie, are you ok?" It takes me a moment to register what my sister was asking me and I stare at her confused. I cough out a measly "What happened?" and I feel my bed shake as Liv laughs.

"Ollie, you have kept me up all night with your jibber jabber, must have been some dream you had."

"Anyway I was wondering if you wanted to come down to the rocks with me tonight, I hear there's going to be a killer swell with that storm rolling in."
