A bar close by. You both didn't want anything fancy or anything super cliche so you settled on a bar.

He invites you over for dinner at his house, his siblings were gone.
Jeremy:
You guys ordered some pizza and watched some movies.
Matt:
He takes you to see a movie that you had been talking about wanting to see.
Tyler:
A beach, he just really wanted to see you in a swimsuit.
Kai:
Kai didn't take you on a date, but you counted that one time you guys went to the park and swung on the swings as a date.
Alaric:
You two went on a walk around the park before stopping and setting up a small picnic.
Elena:
You guys go to a carnival a town or two over because it was away from Mystic Falls.
Caroline:
You guys get drunk and end up singing karaoke at her house.
Bonnie:
You guys went to a haunted house for your first date, you were terrified.
