Kennedy's POV
I walked in to Studio C and did my warm ups stretched you know so I don't pull a muscle and I practiced my turns.
Then walked in Kendra Primavera and the Camera Crew.
" Hello Kennedy, I'm glad to see you working on your turns, because they are going to be the highlight of your dance" she said proudly.
" You will be doing a lyrical solo called " A Mother's Prayer " , your doing it for your mom so it has to come from the heart."
" Ok, come right here " she said pointing to the middle of the room.
( After Practice )
As I was finishing my last turns she yelled " Brynn could do those turns 10× better in her sleep when she was your age, Pathetic ".
" Go get some water your done for the day " she say with disgust.
" PRACTICE!!!!!! " she yelled.
I walked out with a tear running down my cheek.
Every choreographer I've worked with Brynn has worked with and everyone says how good bring was when she was my age. Same story every time.
I came up to my mom crying and she said " What's wrong ".
" She called me pathetic and she kept saying Brynn could do this and Brynn could do that, but I'm not Brynn.
" Brynn honey can you please tell your sister she is a great dancer and she doesn't need to please anyone " she said.
Brynn took me away in to the demand we had a talk.
Brynn said " Your a great dancer and there's nothing g anyone can say about that all that matters is that you go out there dance for Mom and have fun, and all she is trying to do is make you a better dancer.
" I know, but every choreographer I've worked with always compares me to you and I makes me sad, because I'm just as good as anyone else.
" Just go out there and do your best, okay " .
I nod and go to tumbling class.
While I was in tumbling James yelled " It's a simple aerial Brynn could have done it why can't you, It's hard to believe your sisters it's pathetic ".
I just nodded and started over I did my aerial perfectly and he said Thank You, you can do it.
( Flashforward )
After the most stressful day we finally went home.
An: This was supposed to be a short chapter, but I'm not in that good if a mood so.
