Chapter 28 - an early arrival

*4 and a half months later*

I sat on my sofa, trailing my fingertips along the soft fabric of Grayson's hoodie which I was wearing. He was out with some old friends tonight, and I decided to go for a walk since I was bored.
I closed the door behind me, instantly knowing where to go as the wind hit my face lightly.
I almost ran to the house, I was pretty cold outside. My knuckles hit the wooden surface a few times, soon being pulled open. I was overwhelmed with the smell of cookies and cake, which made me smile.
" Hey Christine! " I smiled, pulling her in for a hug and stepping inside the warm home.
" Hi Anna! How've you been? " She asked nicely.
" great, what about you? " I replied.
" good, good. I saw your new video yesterday, it was really funny " She complimented, making me smile ten times more.
" Thanks Christi " I giggled, using the nickname I sometimes used.
" How's Gray? " She asked.
" He's good, I was lonely since he's out with some old friends so I thought I'd come see Hunter, Brandon and Ash " I nodded.
" well the boys are upstairs, just go on up " She patted my back gently, signalling for me to go to their room which I did.
I've always loved their mom, she's so sweet and understanding.

Once I reached Hunter's room, I heard loud laughter coming from behind the door. I assumed all three of the brothers were in there, so I pushed open the door, surprising them all.
" BOO! " I shouted, making a shirtless Brandon jump.
" you scared me! " Brandon laughed.
" put a shirt on boi " I joked.
" I'm 16, don't tell me what to do " He pretended to be offended, which made me laugh.
" and I'm almost 19, so? " I shrugged.
We all laughed and sat on the bed, I noticed that they were live on younow, so I said hi to the viewers.
" what's everyone else doing? " Hunter asked, looking at me hopefully.
" Gray is out with friends.... Kendall and Cameron are probably relaxing since it's the last month of the pregnancy, and I don't know what everyone else is up to " I laughed.
" Is the baby going to be a boy? " Ashton asked, I've always loved Ashton.
Ashton is only 10, almost 11, so he can't really do a lot of the stuff we do with us. He does hang around with us though, and he's part of the squad ;)
" yep " I smiled, popping the p.
As soon as we arrived back from tour, Kendall and Cameron rushed to the doctors to find out the gender. They then surprised us all by doing the thing with the coloured balloons. It was a great day.

* flashback *

" you ready? " Cameron shouted, as him and Kendall held the mysterious box closed.
" yes!! DONT KEEP US IN SUSPENSE! " Blake shrieked, making us all laugh.
" go! " Ariel clapped.
" 3 " Kendall began counting down, positioning herself so that she could open the box on 1.
" 2!! " Ethan continued.
" 1!!! " Olivia finished, as they pulled open the box with happy faces.
Blue balloons came flying out of the box, as we all jumped up and down in excitement.
A baby boy, a nephew.

*flashback over*

" Kenz said I'm going to be an uncle! " Ash beamed, jumping up and down at the idea of his 10 year old self being an uncle.
He kind of would be though, Kendall and Cameron had always said that we'd be like the auntie and uncle figures for the child, and it made us feel really special.

After Hunter ended his broadcast, we chatted until thinking of what to do. The time was around 6pm now, and we were pretty bored.
" let's go to the park! " Brandon laughed.
Ashton shrugged and rolled his eyes, making me giggle. I pulled Ashton into my arms, embracing him in for a long hug and kissing his forehead. Ashton is like another little brother, he's adorable.
" Why don't we go visit the two lovers? " Hunter smirked, wiggling his eyebrows crazily.
" they might want to rest though, they are on 8 months " I shrugged, although I would like to see them.
" Nah let's go, who wouldn't miss us? " Brandon laughed to himself, as I rolled my eyes playfully.

We ended up making our way downstairs, grabbing some of Christine's cookies which she'd made earlier.
" are they good? " She asked, watching us all stuff our faces.
They weren't good. They were freaking delicious.
" they're amazing Christi " I smiled, finishing it off and instantly wanting another one.
She looked at me and passed me the plate, as I took another cookie.
" I could tell you wanted another one " She laughed, making me giggle as I bit into another.
" we're going to Kendall and Cameron's, can Ashtom come? " Brandon asked.
" yeah of course " she approved.
" bye mom " Hunter waved, as we made our way to the door.
" bye guys, have fun " She said, as we left and she closed the door behind us.
I finished my cookie on the way, and the walk there was pretty funny. It was only a 10 minute walk, and we entertained ourselves by doing silly dances and posting them to our stories. Olivia and Ethan were at home, and Blake and Ariel were also at their house. They were chilling out, just watching movies and having a quiet time. However, I had no clue what Weston was up too :/

We arrived at their house, entering straight away without knocking since we knew they wouldn't mind.
" hellooooo " I smiled, instantly seeing them both sitting in the sofa watching TV.
They smiled and motioned for us to join them, and I closed the door behind me. That was when I realised that Weston was sat on the sofa too.
" oh hey Weston! " I laughed, sitting beside him.
" Weston just turned up like half an hour ago, unfortunate for us " Kendall joked.
We laughed and joined in watching whatever was on the TV, which I didn't understand at all. I guess we'd arrived half way through an episode though ;)
As soon as I stated to understand the plot, Kendall stood up carefully, making her way to the bathroom.
" going to pee, I'll be one sec " she laughed as she said it, obviously comfortable around us all.
We looked at one another and giggled, starting up a conversation as the TV was paused.
" Have you got any name ideas for the little boy next month? " Ashton asked innocently, I can never get over how cute he is, he doesn't even try.
" yep " Cameron smiled.
" I think you should call it Weston " Weston laughed, smirking as he said it.
" definitely not " Cameron chuckled.
All of us returned our attention back to Kendall as she appeared in the doorway with a panicky look on her face.
" fucking shit face " She cursed under her breath, standing in a rather uncomfortable position.
" What? " Brandon asked, raising a brow.
" I either spilt water, or my waters broke " She said, as all of us jolted up immediately.
" you weren't drinking any water, Kendall " Hunter said with a scared voice.
" well, off to the hospital we go? " Kendall shrugged, and I could see she was terrified.
I rushed over to her, linking her arm as Cameron did the same. We walked her to the car, jumping in with her in the back before driving to the hospital as quick as possible.
She groaned in pain as it began to kick in for her, she was about to have a baby. A month early too! Nobody expected this!!!
" HURRY " she screamed at the top of her lungs.
" we're trying!! " I said back, still holding her hand in mine which she squeezed.
Nobody was calm in this situation, it was terrifying and extremely hectic.
" Hunter message the guys and tell them to get to the hospital " Cameron instructed, extremely focused on the road and his fiancé in the back.
Hunter nodded and pulled out his phone, sending Grayson, Olivia, Blake, Ethan and Ariel a message before putting it back into his pocket. His hands were shaking, and so were mine.

" I have no clue what to do in these situations! " Weston yelled as Cameron walked Kendall quickly to the reception, grabbing many people's attention.
" somebody help please! " Brandon yelled to a nurse, who rushed over and took Kendall to a wheelchair.
She sat her down, as Kendall took deep breaths, trying to soothe the pain.
We followed her with the wheelchair, but she stopped us quickly.
" only 1 can go " The nurse said, and obviously that person should be the father of her baby.
Cameron stepped forward, giving us a sympathetic look before rushing after Kendall and the nurse. And there we were, left in the waiting room, hoping for the best.
