Chapter 9 - Blink

"Cait..."

"I'm fine, Barry" she replied scanning the area. Cisco has found the location in which Savitar is. Barry and Caitlin have come to speak to him and get her father back.

"Caitlin, are you sure, you coming here..."

She stops him.

"Are you trying to say, I can't do this! Barry, I have to be here to save my Dad! this is my battle"

Barry pulls her close to his chest, "I know it's not my battle but you are my girlfriend, you're my damn world" he could feel her heart pounding. His lips brushed hers. Not innocently, like a tease but hot, fiery, passionate and demanding.

"I love you so much" He smiles.

She grins, fixing her suit.

"You look beautiful, Cait"

"Come on" she eyed to the back of the building.

There they saw Savitar.

"I knew you would survive, Caitlin Snow"

"I want to know what you did with my Dad," she asked ignoring his statement
"Your father is with me, I need him"

Barry suddenly heard Caitlin snarl. He quickly spun around to see her face, her chocolate brown eyes were gone all he could see was her icy, blue, Killer Frost eyes.

He slowly walked over to her to calm her down.

"Cait, look I'm here"

"Looks like she chose a perfect time to come to meet me" Savitar proclaimed.

"Where is her Dad?!" Barry asked anger in his tone.

"You see that building there..." Savitar pointed at the huge building.

"He is in there, tied up, I will give him if you let your Killer Frost side come out fully."

Barry stared at him. "What do you mean?"

"I want your girlfriend to let her inner demon out, unleash the demon...permanently"

Barry stood there in shock.

"Then I will let her Dad go"

That was the breaking point. At that moment, Barry was blinded by a five course serving of rage that tasted bitter, yet surprisingly satisfying. He ran towards him with a lightning punch. 

However Savitar stopped him and grabbed him by the neck.

Before Savitar did anything to him, Savitar began to freeze, Barry realising what was happening smiled to himself proudly. He dropped to the floor when Savitar sped off.

He turned around and Caitlin wasn't there. He pulled his Flash mask down and sped around the area searching for her frantically.

No, please, No, Savitar didn't take her. He couldn't have. He already lost her and he wasn't prepared to do it all over again. He said in his mind.

He sped into the building. There he saw Caitlin untieing the ropes which were tied around her Father's hands.

He smiled in relief. He put his hands through his hair.

She finally untied him and she hugged him, tears streaming down both their faces.

"My beautiful, baby girl" Mr Tanhauser cried.

"Daddy, I missed you so much!" she trembled.

Barry watched them reuniting, smiling.

Caitlin took her father by his hand and walked over to Barry.

She smiled shyly, facing down.

"Wow you are The Flash, Nice to meet you! Wow I always wanted to meet you" he shook Barry's hand.

Barry focused his stare at Caitlin. Who was looking down awkwardly.

They all went back to Star Labs.

Mrs Tanhauser embraced her Husband and daughter.

She turned around to face Barry who was still in his Flash suit without his mask.

"You are The Flash" her hands crossed, giving a stern look.

"Mum could you please stop intimidating him!"

"Me, It is him who is intimidating me, I can see the way you look at my daughter!"

Caitlin rolls her eyes, "Mum he is suppose to do that, thats why he is my boyfriend"

Mr Tanhauser coughs, "Boyfriend? Caitlin?"

"Dad...I haven't seen you in years...I..." she muttered.

"Cait, I am so shocked in a good way."

Barry walks behind Caitlin and wraps his arms around her.

Mrs Tanhauser protests "Oh no you cannot find this acceptable! Just look at him"

Mr Tanhauser walks over to his wife and puts his hands around her shoulder pulling her close.

"I would love to get to know you after I settle back home...um?"

"Barry, It's Barry Allen" He politely smiled.

"Mr Allen"

Barry nods looking down at Caitlin who turns around and kisses him softly on the lips.

"Please stop" Carla winces.

"Quickly get going you two! I will catch up with you soon, Mr Allen" Mr Tanhauser winks at them to leave.

Laughing, Barry and Caitlin walk out.
