"Zayn's never going to be able to find this place." Harry said, looking around them and seeing nothing but trees.

"I sent him the directions. He's pretty smart, he'll manage." Louis smiled.

Zayn called Louis earlier in the week, and that was when Louis invited him to the lake house for the weekend.

Zayn wanted to go, but claimed the only day he could do his recording in the studio was Friday.

Louis didn't understand why recording a song or two took a whole day, but then again there was a lot about Zayn he didn't understand.

"Why couldn't he just ride in the car with us? And this be a proper family road trip?" Harry asked, making Louis chuckle.

"He said he'll be in the studio all day today. He's coming tomorrow morning." Louis said.

"Oh."

"Don't sound so disappointed. He'll be here." Louis teased.

"I'm not." Harry blushed, looking out the window.

"Are we almost there?"

"Um, I think so. Let me know if you see a dirt road."

"I've seen like ten." Harry mumbled.

"Well, the next one you see let me know because that's it." Louis clarified.

"I'm hungry." Harry announced, glancing at the backseat before he looked at Louis.

"We're miles from any fast food place, Harry. After we get settled and unpack the groceries you can make yourself something." Louis said.

"But why can't you make me something?" Harry asked with a little smile.

"You're old enough to make your own food."

"Please?"

"I plan on going down to the lake first and taking a look around. Why don't you just get a bag of chips and come with me?" Louis asked.

"Fine." Harry pouted.

"I'm making dinner. That's enough." Louis chuckled.

"There's the road." Harry said quietly, nodding toward it.

"Nice." Louis said, thankful he found it without getting stranded.

If there was anyone who always got lost going somewhere, it was Louis.

"Oh, it's beautiful." Harry said, the house revealing itself from within the trees as they came down the driveway.

"Wonder how much Liam would charge for rent. I might move here." Louis said, parking the car.

"No, I like the city better. Out here if one of us got hurt we'd have to drive hours before we got to a hospital." Harry said.

"Oh yeah? So I can't move out here because you don't want to?" Louis chuckled, getting out of the car.

"Yeah." Harry smiled, doing the same and looking at him over the top of the car.

"Fine. I'll move when you go back to your mom in the fall." Louis said, walking off towards the house.

Harry paused.

He'd completely forgotten that when summer was over he'd be going back home.

Well, home or college.

Or work.

Ew.

The thought made him start to feel depressed, so he quickly pushed it away and followed Louis.
