"Why do we have to move into a new house?" I asked my mother as we pulled into the driveway.
"Well its too late now" she replies.
I look out the window and can see my reflection. I study my face. I look at my light brown eyes and my rose pink colored lips. Then I look at my straight, golden brown hair.
"Let's go." my mother says in a firm voice.
I step out the car and stretch my legs and watch her as she walks over to the moving van. She's a middle aged women and also single. She has curly hair and beautiful green-ish brown eyes. I'm so jealous. I walk to the trunk of the car and lift the lid. I grab my light blue Vans backpack and walk up the stairs to the front door. My mother walks up behind me and unlocks the door.
"Ima go explore the house," I say walking inside. As I walk down the hallway I hear a mans voice not to far behind me.
"Priscilla can you please sign this?"
I realize he was talking to my mother so I continue walking. I look up at the high ceiling and smile. I don't know why but I always like high ceilings. I make my way up the stairs and walk down the hall. I go to the last bedroom and open the door.
"It's beautiful" I say in a slight whisper.
I put my backpack on the floor and take out some paper. I grab a sharpe and wrote 'Brianna's Room' on the bright green paper. I take my mint flavored gum out of my mouth and stick it to the paper. I stood up and walked back to the door and pressed the paper on the door.
"Perfect" I whisper again. I turn around and walk further into the room. I walk to the closet and open the door. I look inside the huge closet and smile. I turn around and walk to the huge window that brings in all the beautiful lighting. I look outside and see my neighbors house. As I'm about to turn away, a boy around my age, which is 14, and walks by the window. He sees me and freezes. He is so cute.
"Hello" I say. I soon realize he can't hear me because my window is closed. I open my window and lean out. He does the same.
"Hello" I say again with a wave. "My names Brianna I'm your new neighbor."
"Hey. Welcome to the neighborhood. My names Jacob." He yells back.
I'm interrupted by a man carrying my wooden bed.
"Where would you like this?" He asks.
I look around the room while tapping my bottom tip with my right index finger.
"Right there please," I say pointing at the corner. He smiles and gently puts down the bed. He walks out of the room and I turn back to the window. Jacob was gone.
A couple hours later all of the furniture is laid perfectly around the whole house. I walk back into my room and towards the closet. I walk to the full body mirror hanging on one of the closet doors. I study my reflection. I'm wearing light blue skinny jeans and a rainbow tie dye shirt with white high top vans.
"Brianna! Come downstairs!" My mother yells at me. I listen to her and walk down the stairs and into the huge kitchen. This house is pretty huge. My mother is a lawyer which is pretty cool.
"I want you to take these cookies to both of our neighbors okay?" She asks as a approach her standing at the center island in the kitchen.
"Alrighty" I say grabbing the tray of chocolate cookies and walking out the front door. The sun light blinds me as I walk to the house to the right of mine. I walk up the front door and knock. There is no reply. I look at the drive way to see no car.
"Duhhh there's nobody home" I say under my breathe as I walk away. I past my house and walk to our other neighbors to the left of us. I grab a cookie and take a few bites before knocking on the door. The door flys open.
"Heyyyyy Brianna." Jacob says while looking down at the cookies.
"Hey Jacob. Nice to meet you. Wanna cookie?" I ask with a smile.
"Of course" he replies while grabbing one. I look at his outfit. Black jeans and a red shirt with black converse. His hair is perfect and his cheeks are a light pink. He takes a bite and smiles. His smile is amazing!
"Are your parents home?" I ask looking behind him into his house.
"It's just me and my dad. My mother left us. And my dad is at work." I frown at his answer.
"I'm sorry about your mother. " I say looking down at the floor.
"It's okay. It's fun with my father. Although he's not home a lot. He's a lawyer." He replies.
I look up and smile "my mothers a lawyer too" He smiles and let's out a soft laugh.
"Thanks for the cookie. You have a phone?"he asks me.
I slip my iPhone 6s rose gold out of my back pocket. I hold it up and smile.
"Can you unlock it for me?" He asks.
I listen to him even tho I barley know him. I unlock my phone with my thumb print. He takes it and presses a few buttons. He hands me my phone and I look down. He put in his phone number. And the contact name was 'Jacob😋'. I smile and thank him. He smiles and walks into the house. And slowly closes the door. I look back down at my phone when I feel a vibration. "Heyyyy cutie" I read. It's from Jacob. I smile and walk back down his stairs. Into my house. And to my room leaving the cookie tray on the little table by the front door. I walk up the stairs and into my bedroom. I flop down on my bed with white bedding. And answer the text. "Hello😋"*I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE MY FIRST CHAPTER!*
