Chapter 11

  I wake up and stretch laying on his bed. I turn over and look at Jacob. I'm glad it's summer and I will be able to spend a lot of time with Jacob. I get up and walk to his bathroom. I brush my teeth and get dressed. I walk out of the bathroom to find Jacob rubbing his eyes. His hair is all messy and it's really cute!
   "Morning bree," Jacob says when he looks at me. I smile and walk to his bed.
   "Morning sunshine," I say. He stretches and sits up.
   "What do you wanna do today?" He asks me. I yawn and shake my head.
    "No clue," I answer him as I walk over to his bedroom door. "But Ima go get clothes I'll be back." He nods his head. I run across his bedroom and dive through the window landing on pillows in my room.
   "Your getting too good at that," Jacob says while laughing. I smile and walk to my closet. I walk inside and look in the mirror. I still have his white hoodie on. I grab a pair of black jeans and a black shirt. The shirt has bright red roses all over it. I change and walk into my bathroom. I brush out my hair and tie it half up with a messy bun. I apply light pink lip gloss and spray coconut body spray all over me. Then I run across my room and dive into Jacobs room. It's weird how big our windows are🤷‍♀️.

*jacobs point of view*
Bree jumps into my bedroom window and lands on the pillows.
   "Your like a ninja Bree," I tell her laughing. She stands up and smiles. I look at her outfit and she looks beautiful... like always. Im wearing a pair of black jeans and a white shirt with red Jordan's. Nothing special. And what's that smell?....hmmmmm coconut!?
   "Ima end up sneaking up on you one day," she says breaking my thoughts. Then my phone rings. I walk over to my bed and answer it. After a few seconds I hang up.
   "My dad just called. Wants us to meet him in front of your house. I guess we are going to breakfast with your mom." I tell her. She smiles and nods her head. She walks up to me and grabs my hand pulling me out the room.

*bree's point of view*
  We walk out his house and he locks the door behind us. We walk down the sidewalk with the hot sun beaming on us. We get to the car and both of our parents are already inside. Jacob opens the back seat door for me and I crawl in with him right behind me.
"So mother where are we going?" I ask my mom who is sitting in the passengers seat. She turns back to look at me.
"Just going out to eat. It's better then being stuck in the house," she tells me. I buckle my seat belt and take my phone out of my pocket. I start texting Jacob.

Me~Heyyy
Jacob~Bree your sitting right next to me😂
Me~ I know that. But texting you is better. So my mom won't have to listen to our conversation. Haha
Jacob~ Alrighty bree 🙂
Me~ I just wanna be alone with you...
Jacob~ What would you wanna do if we were alone?
Me~ I just wanna kiss you...😊
Jacob~ Me too bree 😘
   I look out the window blushing. I watch the clouds move slowly as we stop at a red light. My wind goes everywhere thinking about Jacob.
   "We are here," my mother said breaking my thoughts. I looked around and realize we are at IHop.
   "Oooooo pancakes," I say. Jacob quietly laughs. We get out the car and walk inside. The waiter sits us at a booth and hands us the menus.
    "What would you like to drink," she asks us. Jacob and his dad orders first and then my mother. I'm stilling looking at the menu when I realize the waitress is waiting for me.
    "Oh sorry." I tell her. I look at her name tag. "I would have a strawberry and banana smoothie please. Thank you Annie." She smiles and walks away.
*twenty minutes later*
  We all have our pancakes now and we are eating. My mother and Jacobs dad are talking about work. Then they both get a phone call and step outside. I look down at my plate and smile. I scoop up some whipped cream off my pancakes and I wipe it on Jacobs nose.
    "Hey!" He says while laughing. He grabs whipped cream off of my plate and wipes it on my forehead. We start having a whipped cream fight. Then he starts tickling me. I laugh uncontrollably and try to move away. Then I knocked over the plate with fresh fruit on it. It lands on the floor with a loud slam but it didn't break.
    "That was close," I tell Jacob. I reach over and grab the dirty fruit off the ground just in time before our parents walk back in.
    "You guys finish eating?" My mother asks. I nod my head and stand up. My mom puts money on the table and we walk out.

*6 minutes later*
   "Listen hunny I have to tell you something," my mother says looking back at me from the passenger seat.
    "Everything okay mom?" I ask her kinda freaking out.
    "Rolf and I have something important at work," she says looking at Jacobs father. "We had to leave for a week." I turn to Jacob and he quickly looks at me.
    "So I would be at home alone for a week? Mom that's scary," I tell her.
    "She can sleep at my house for the week," Jacobs tells my mother. She looks at Rolf then back at Jacob.
   "Only if your father is okay with that. I don't mind. " she replies. Rolf nods his head.
    "Fine with me!" He says with a smile.
   "So when are you guys leaving?" Jacob asks. My mother and Rolf both turn to look back at us at the same time.
    "Tonight," they both say.
