Ashton's POV

"Look who's talking, Ive been looking for you for the longest time" I snorted.

"Don't sass me Ashton, I know you didn't even try to look for me" he smirked before sitting down next to me. I sat on my knees and faced him while dangling my arms on his shoulder.

"You know me to well Shawn" I smiled.

"Well duh I'm The Shawn Mendes, the almighty god" he said as his voice got louder with every word. I rolled my eyes and flicked his ear lobe.

"Calm down you got famous over an app, and went on tour with the biggest group of fuckboys" I remarked as I smiled at him while he laid his hand on the lower part of my back.

"You dated one of those fuckboys" Shawn smirked.

"Actually I dated him before he became a fuckboy, so your point is invalid" I laughed.

"Alright-Alright you beat Ashton" he smiled. He let out a sigh before he started rubbing my back. I giggled and scooted closer to him.

"You do know, someone will probably take a picture of us and put it up online. Then your management is going to pick at your ass until the end of time!" I giggled, Shawn groaned while tilting his head back.

"Well let's give them something to take a picture about" Shawn growled while trailing his hand lower and lower done my back. I laughed and slapped his chest before standing back up.

"I'm gonna go get something to drink, you want one?" I asked him. He stroked his chin before he made an answer.

"Nah, who else is going to drag you and Eva back up to our room" Shawn sighs as he makes himself comfortable on the couch. I rolled my eyes and went on a search.

I walked up to the bar tender. He smiled and passed me a drink. I quirked my eyebrows. "Hey can I-" he shushed me and pushed the drink closer to me.

"I'm not paying for this" I said as I pointed at the drink. The bartender shrugged as he grabbed the towel that was hanging loosely around his neck and began cleaning a cup. I let out a sigh before giving him a three dollar tip and taking a sip of the colored liquid.

The burning sensation ran down my throat as I coughed to ease the pain. I mean it's not bad, shit that bartender is lucky it's not bad. I blinked multiple times before I began to walk back to where Shawn and I were sitting. A hand ran past my lower back, an instant shiver ran up my spin as I remembered that specific touch. I took a quick sip before turning around to face him.

The way his hair laid on his head so smoothly, the light stubble on his chin. The dim lighting illuminating his brown eyes as the familiar smirk formed. He took a sip from his cup before cracking a smile.

"I was hoping to run into you" he smirked as he ran a hand though his hair. I rubbed my eye before forcing out a chuckle.

"How would you even know I was here?" I questioned taking a sip of my drink.

"Well I saw that Eva snap chatted saying that she was going to this party, and I was kind of hoping I would get to see you. So that maybe we can hang out or something" Cameron said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Now why would you hope for that Cameron" I coldly said looking straight up at him.

"Oh come on. No bad blood, we left on good terms remember" he smiled as he rubbed my lower arm. I snacked my arm away form his touch.

"That was because that was a very emotional week for me. I found out my ex-boyfriend went out with his girlfriend to prom and the next day had to say goodbye to him for what I thought was forever. Not to mention the week before I found out you cheated on me the same week my mother died....Look Cameron I'm trying to have a good night, just say what you want and leave" I stated right before putting my hand on my hip and looking up at him.

He sighed before pinching the bridge of his nose. "Look Ashton. I know what I did was terrible and there's not a single day I don't regret it. I just wanted to see if we can..." he sighed once more. "Just start over".

A chuckle came out of me before I turned around and took a step but was only pulled back by my arm. I wiped around and rolled my eyes.

"Please. I really missed you" Cameron pleaded as he softly ran his thumb along our intertwined hands.

"I don't know Cameron, I'll have to think about it" I told him truthfully. Maybe it was good, I mean I haven't seen the kid in two years. Plus stress and grudges give you acne.

He gasped before taking out his phone. "Give me your number" he smiled as he handed me his phone.

"Why do I feel like I heard that line before" I laughed as I grabbed it and saved my number on his phone.

"Trust me you're gonna remember a lot from before" he winked after shutting off his phone and putting it in his pocket.

"Watch it Cameron, don't make me regret giving you my number" I said while taking a step backwards going on my way.

"Trust me I won't" he smiled.

And with that I walked off, I took my spot next to Shawn on the couch and enjoyed my night as much as I can. It's weird how our first encounter after graduation was at Kendall Jenner's party...I guess life works in mysterious ways.
