"Did you hear about the three new kids?" Hye-Mi asked me as I was writing down notes for our test coming up in a week. As much as I loved her, she was always talking about the latest gossip no matter what it was.
Could be as simple as the kingka in the school dumping his latest girlfriend for another girl or the fact the janitor has his monthly hook ups in his office during school hours. No matter what the gossip was, she was all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake.
"No."
She took my pencil making me look away from the notes to her. "Its the maknae line from BTS! This is my shot at having an idol boyfriend like you!"
Because of how rich I was and who my father was, I had met tons of idols in my life. My father was a big time producer at SM Entertainment, so I have met groups like SHINee, Super Junior and EXO. My boyfriend is Sehun, maknae of EXO and since I've dated him Hye-Mi has been whining to get a popular boyfriend like me.
"Most kpop stars are jerks, and from what I've heard they just put on a really good face." I grabbed my pencil out of her hands and quickly wrote down the rest of the notes.
She sighed loudly and put her hand on the table, usually that means she was going to give up on the conversation. Because of who I am, I know more about idols than she wants me to. I always tell her that her favorites are either jerks or would have nothing to do with people like her because they set their expectations way too high.
Sehun and I had been dating for about seven months now, mostly my father was the reason behind us but we learned to accept it and like one another. It was actually our seven month anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks and like always he would take me to Namsan tower to surprise me with a special dinner. I appreciate it so much because he always buys me expensive necklaces and bracelets, but sometimes I would like something as simple as seeing a movie.
Hye-Mi always tells me I don't deserve dating someone like him because I want small things unlike what he does. He always thinks its the money, but I have enough of that from both of my parents. I just want to be loved and have him notice the little things in my life, the most personal thing he knows about me is my favorite color, orange. He only remembered my birthday because he came over when my dad was singing it to me, he doesn't even remember my middle name!
The bell rang as I went to my next class, Hye-Mi had class right across the hall from me for the next one. I walked in and girls were giggling up a storm, but when they saw me they stopped giving me death looks. Fans of Sehun probably.
"Alright, class. Settle down, Park Bo Lin have a seat please." The teacher nodded at the seat in the front with three extra seats around it. That would only mean on thing, new students like Hye-Mi was talking about. Great, just my luck. "Boys come on in."
I heard footsteps come in but I wasn't paying attention, as a matter of fact I didn't care about new kids so I was studying. But all the girls behind me were screaming and nearly dying because of the new students, it was hard to ignore them.
"I'm Park Jimin imnida."
"I'm Jeon Jungkook imnida."
"I'm Kim Taehyung imnida."
"Please take care of us." They said in unison.
Girls were clapping their hands behind us as if they watched them win the nobel peace prize or something. Idols were really loved here, but they are just normal people like them.
"YAH!" The teacher slapped her hand on my desk making me quickly look up seeing her standing next to three boys. "Since you are being rude, introduce yourself. You are now in charge of showing them around school and helping them if they need it."
