Mud Fight

"Yah, yah! Watch where you are going, Kai!" I yelled laughing. He rolled his eyes as he kept driving in the video game we were playing, of course he was beating me.

We had been hanging out all day since EXO had the day off and I really wanted to stay home, Sehun went with a few friends to visit parents so Kai stayed with me. I kept debating to myself whether I should tell him things about my love life or not because he is Sehun's friend and all. After he beat me for the fifth time in a row we sat the controllers down and sat up on the couch when he tilted his head at me.

"Is everything okay? Remember what I said before, nothing passes what's between us. Promise." He gave me a reassuring smile.

Of course, I could trust him. "It's just about my love life is all. What do you think of Sehun and I together?"

"Why ask me that? What about your friend?" He took a twizzler off the table.

"She doesn't like him so that's pretty explanatory."

Kai sighed scooting closer to me and flicked my head. "You shouldn't decide on your relationship based on what others say."

"Okay, but just answer what you think of us as a couple."

"Aish, fine. You want an honest answer, I think you aren't going to last much longer. With everything going on with you and V and then with things he's doing it just isn't going to work. But what do I know-" 

I tilted my head and covered his mouth. It was almost like he was trying to hide something from me, but I couldn't figure out what it was. So I slowly uncovered his mouth making him look at me with confused eyes.

"Sorry. Do you believe me about V and I being friends? Just friends that is." 

"Of course, but what was that thing about when you confessed to liking him?" 

My eyes instantly rolled, but I wanted to tell him the truth. "What would you say if I had a soft spot for Taehyung?"

His eyes widen as he took a sip of his banana milk. "Bwo? Jinjja? But you-"

"Aish, never mind. I'll figure it out myself." I said irritated with his response. He pouted trying to do aegyo to save him from the hole he dug himself into. 

"I didn't mean anything, I promise. I was just surprised since your taste is like the bad boy image like Sehun had." Kai said.

"Let me start from the beginning, okay? No judging, alright?" He crossed his heart. "Okay, well things started when you guys went on that tour..."

We sat there for hours how I explained when he came back he was different, how we drifted apart for a while and that's when I sought out Kai. How things got worse after I told him I can't have kids on my own and that he doesn't want a family anytime soon. I told him that when I graduated high school I wanted to be serious with someone and start a family in a few years. Then I explained how I wanted to become a doctor and stay away from the music industry but Sehun said it was a waste of my time.

After I explained everything he took a long sigh and looked at me. By this point, I was tearing up but I held back the tears not wanting to cry in front of him. Honestly, I really hated crying in front of people but sometimes I just can't hold it back.

"Bo.. If you don't love him you shouldn't be with him anymore, I will support whatever you decide." Kai wiped the tears away from my cheek.

"Taehyung has been there a lot, Kai. The day you guys had practice and he forgot about me-"

"What? He forgot about you?"

I tilted my head. "The day he promised to pick me up himself, you were there. Remember? He told me you guys had practice and it ran late."
