Brook POV

I wake up and I do my daily routine I check my phone. Maddie wanted to hang out today. I texted her back yeah sure. I get ready and I put my clothes on. What I wore

We went to the mall then she had a sleep over at my house we snapped all night and we went live on ig.
Logan was on my live and he was saying hi and I was on Maddie phone. We was hugging and I was like "my bestieee" and my 2 best friends from home was in the live

Me: OMG HEY,danna and Alexis
They say hey and asked what I was doing
Me: I'm just having a sleep over with the besttt
And then they leave
I didn't care so I just left it alone.

The next day)

I wake up and Maddie wasn't sleeping next to me anymore I looked at my phone to see a message from her, talking about she had to go home and I can text her if I need anything and she will see me at practice.

I took a shower and I put some shorts on and a tank top. I call my besties from home and they didn't seem to happy.

Me: HEYY GUYS I MISS YOU GUYS
1bff: oh I didn't even see that
She says rude
2bff: so how is your new bestie
She says meanly
Me: oh she is just my friend
2bff: oh really.....she is well, what about last night.
Me: are you guys mad at me for calling her my best friend
1bff: your a fucking bitch
It felt like someone just stabbed me in the back, I was speechless
Me: I.....I....I'm S-sorry
I say tears feeling my eyes
1bff: go fuck yourself, were not your friends anymore
And they hung up, I just sat there on my bed with tears rolling down my cheeks. They was so freaking childish and honestly I can show them I don't need them.

I wash my face I go down stairs and my mom was cooking breakfast the baby was sleeping.

Me: where's dad and Jason
Mrs.J: your dad had to have a speech to the football team and your brother had to go to basketball practice.
Me: oh...wow
Mrs.J: I know right
Me: mom
Mrs.J: yes hon
Me: me and my besties are not friends anymore
MrsJ: what why?

I told her about the whole thing yesterday and how they were jelly that I had another best friend.

Mrs.J: if they were your real best friends they would had been happy that you had at least one friend around here.
Me: that's so true
I say laughing
Mrs.J: are you hungry
Me: no, I'm good I'm gonna go get my room together
Mrs.J: okay

Monday)

I rush out of bed because I was waking up late and I didn't want to be late for school.

I take a shower and I do my makeup and I just put my hair in a high ponytail. What I where.

I make it to class late but I honestly didn't even care. We had practice after school today that's why I was in class. I had to sit next to Logan and that was awkward.

Practice)

Me and Maddie are running to the field from the locker room because the football players and the cheerleaders were gonna work together so it was supposed to be a fun practice. My dad out me with Logan because we was both captain and I was mad. I didn't even wanna talk to him.when we started he just kept talking to me and I was ignoring him.

L: why are you ignoring me
Me: don't forget your the one who said you didn't want to talk anymore
L: we can talk I'm just we can't look into each other's eyes
Me: you know what Logan I don't wanna sit here and act like nothing is happening, you kissed me and then told me that you don't want to talk to me, that's called playing someone.
L: it's not like that, I don't wanna get kicked off the team
Me: WELL EVERYTHING ISN'T ABOUT YOU
I say after walking away, he follows me in the locker room he pushes me into one of the lockers and he hold my waist pulling me into him.
L: I want to talk to you but I can't because it's best for both of us
He says whispering into my ear
Me: but what if I need you and I can't because we are scared we will get caught
L: don't worry baby girl if you need me I'll always be here for you
After saying that he kisses me, and it was for a while.
After we heard a loud bang inside the locker room knowing someone was in here and they probably saw us. We rush out the locker room and we act like nothing happened.

For the rest of practice we was having fun and I'm happy, but I didn't know what we was, I mean we kissed we made out but he never asked me out and I don't want to be played.

Later that night)

We was all eating dinner and I was zoned out.

Mrs.J: hey...brook
I snapped out of it and shakes my head
Me: oh..yeah I'm fine I'm just not hungry
J: or your thinking about a boy ohhhhhhhhh
Jason say making fake kissing things towards me and the rest of the family laughing besides me.
Me: no I'm not and I'm fine like I said I'm not hungry
I get up and walk to my room, but the truth was I was thinking about someone, and I needed him right now. I needed to see him but I couldn't even though I had his number I couldn't, but then I thought FaceTime.

I jump on my bed smiling and I grab my phone and I put my head phones in so no one would know I was talking to a a boy. I call him and it was just ringing and ringing. It said connected so I put my face away from the camera so he can guess who it was.

L: hello..Um.. who is this
He was breathing heavily and fast
Me: guest I say blushing
L: ahhhh.... I honestly don't know
Then when I was about to say something I hear a girl in the background coming from out of the sheets and I noticed they were having sex. I hung up quickly and I just felt stupid.

AWEEE I FEEL BAD FOR HER BUT THINGS GET JUICY AS THE BOOK GOES ON AND IM REALLY EXCITED TO SEE HOW THIS BOOK TURNS OUT....;) LOVE YOU GUYS❤️❤️
