Andrew's POV
"Hi mom." Pagbati ko sa mommy ko.
"Anak, your Dad and I have matters to talk about to you."
I was curious. I went straight to the livung room where my family sure would be.
Nakaupo sa sofa ang daddy ko. The next sofa was occupied by my mom. The long sofa was occupied by Ate Asher, our eldest. Beside her was the second child, Kuya Alex. The most comfy seat was occupied by our youngest sibling, Anya. Apat kaming magkakapatid. I'm the third.
"Take as seat." My dad ordered.
I did as I was told. I know this is an important discussion.
"You are old enough." Pagpapatuloy ni Daddy.
"What is it, exactly, Daddy?"
"You should take over the hospital after you graduate."
"But that's still in 6 years! I'm just in my fourth year now."
"Then I must wait."
Sa aming tatlo nila Ate at Kuya, ako lang ang available magtake over sa hospital namin. I'm the only one who took medicine as my course. Ate Asher took Engineering and now has a company of her own. It wasn't known before, but Dad took my sister as his business partner. Now, it's very known along with Montefalco Housing. That company is very known for my brother's amazing skills. He studied Architecture and now owns such. Those three companies are now owned by my family.
If you think, I was born and raised rich, you're wrong. Pinanganak ako sa isang bahay kubo sa probinsya. Up until I was 13 old, my family and I were very poor. But then, my dad continued his studies. Those times were hard. But it's worth it. After mag graduate ni daddy, may nakapansin sa abilities niya as a doctor. Then he, was able to build the hospital. And since then, my family and I lived a comfortable life. That doesn't mean I don't do my responsibilites anymore. I still wash the dishes at times and so on. But not as usual as before. I decided not to stop doing those since I'm already used to it.
Ate Asher is still single. No family yet. She's just 29 years old. She's in no rush. She handles her company very well. She's doing great.
Kuya Alex has a girlfriend and he seems serious about her. He's still 27 years old. But even if he has someone to love, he handles the company well.
I'm doing well as a student. I took a ten-year course so obviously, it'll take time. I'm 24 years old as of now.
Anya, our youngest is doing a great job for a high school student. She ranks all the time. I once asked her what course she's gonna take. She answered "I dont know. But I wanna be a singer."
Our family is united, if you ask.
I went to my room. The dirty suit I used yesterday glued my eyes to it.
