Chapter 12

It's been 2 days since Jake talked to me I was so upset at him but mostly me who knew I could screw up and get pregnant. Well at least Ariel is still here with me she'll never leave me ( or will she)

" Stop thinking so stupidly" I said to myself I got put on a blue hoodie and some sweatpants Ariel was going to take me to the doctor today I was so excited I know I won't know the sex until I was around 2 months and I have no idea how long I am now so hopefully I'll find that out today.

It was around 8:30 when I heard a knock on the door I got up from the bed and it was pretty hard. I walked to the front door and saw a happy looking Ariel

" omg hey Bec" she almost knocked me over with the hug she gave me but I managed to stay up

"Oh did I hurt the baby" she bent down and rubbed my stomach in an apologetic way

" no I'm pretty sure the baby is ok" I laughed

" ok we'll good" she stood up and looked around the house

" so um.. How's it with you and Jake?" That question brought back that night that we told him I was pregnant

" oh um" I choked on the words to say " well he hasn't talked to me in like 2 days and he constantly leaves the house to go to only God knows where, I hope he's not going to you know who house"

She looked into space for a little bit mad had that Ohh look.

" yeah that was a rough time for all of us" she looked sad so I had to lighten up the mood even just a little

" hey I can't wait to see the baby how bout you?" I asked

" Omg yes and when we find the sex we can start choosing baby names and other stuff like that" she said while jumping up and down. That's the Ariel that I know and love

" ok so where are we going to go to?" Since she planned everything I had no clue

" oh yea well my mom best friend has a clinic that's like 30 min from here it called Miracle Unborn"

" wow that a um..interesting name" I said with a slight chuckle

" yea well we better get going it's already 8:50 " she opened the house door and skipped all the way to the car. I quickly grabbed a granola bar and a bottle of water and walked to the car. We sang to different songs all the way there and then Ariel popped me with a questionable question

" so um.. When are you telling Jonathan? I know we talked about this but I think he really needs to know" she turned towards me and gave me a meaningful look and turned back to the road

" well I don't know maybe I..I.." I let out a heavy sigh and just looked out the window. I know I should tell him but how should I write a note, go to his house, have Jake tell him if he even will talk to me. All this stuff is too complicated I can't take it anymore.

We arrived at the clinic at 9:20 exactly 30 min. Now this place wasn't half bad it was a multi-millionaire condo but it wasn't a small nasty shack on the side of the road either. They had an indoor waterfall, brownish carpet floors ( which I love) and sea foam green for the walls.

" wow not bad Ariel" I said while giving her a small nudge. She laughed and gave me a hug

" only the best for my best friend in the whole world". We both laughed and walked to the receptionist. She had blonde hair blue eyes and I could tell she was in her mid 40's her name was Blenda which I could tell by her name tag.

" hello welcome to Miracle Unborn are you two ladies waiting for somebody" she asked with a welcoming smile

" um no I'm here with my friend to get a check up" I said

" oh..ok who are you here to see today?" I had no idea so I looked to Ariel for help

" oh we are here to see Mrs.Free please I'm her best friend daughter" Ariel said

" oh Ariel I have you right here for a 9:45 appointment have a seat in the waiting room" she used her hand to gesture where the waiting room was. We thanked and and was on our way.

The waiting room was a baby blue with sheep and clouds on it and the floor was white carpet. They also have two flat screen TVs bigger than any I've seen. They had a very comfy chairs that I almost fell asleep until Ariel woke me up.

" hey wake up Bec it's 9:43 and we should get called any minute now"

I let a loud yawed and I'm glad we were the only ones in there or that would've been embarrassing.

" Ariel Mrs.Free is ready for you". We both got up and followed the man who called us and he wasn't bad looking if you know what I mean ;). He but us in an all white room with white tile floors but it had a brown seating table( them seats at the doctors that they have you laying on have no ideas what's its called) and counters with a sink and gloves and other stuff on it and also a tv screen which I guess shows you where the baby is.

The guy gave me a hospital gown and told me that the doctor will be here in an moment. I stripped to my underwear and bra and put the gown on Ariel wasn't looking and I trusted her. After I was done I hoped unto the table a waited.

" You stupid motherfuc***" Ariel yelled and threw her phone across the room

" whoa whoa what the hell happened?" I asked very worried she never cuss usually

" I was playing some stupid Flappy Bird and died on level 19 one more away from beating my high score" she yelled

I laughed at how silly she was and soon enough she laughed too. Then we heard a knock on the door and who I'm guessing is Mrs.Free came in

" hello Ariel and you must be?"

" oh I'm Rebecca but you can call me Bec if you want" I said with a smile

" oh I'll stick with Rebecca for now" she said with a chuckle " ok we'll as you know I'm Mrs.Free and I'll be your OB/GYN for now on, now please lay down"

I layer down and opened the gown so it showed my stomach she put some cold gel on my stomach and I arched my back.

" oh I'm sorry should've warned you first". The coolness went away some and I put my back down she grabbed this wand thing and turned on the tv. She rubbed the wand around my stomach and tried to find the baby.

" oh their it is" on the screen was like a small bean looking thing I was still happy though and stated to cry. ( Stupid Hormones)

" ok we are all done here" she turned off the screen and I became sad. She grabbed a towel and rubbed the gel off.

" so how far am I" I asked still a little sad that I couldn't see my little baby bean

" you are about 3 weeks and we should know the gender around 2 months" she got a picture of the baby and gave it to me I was once again happy

" ok we'll I have to go good luck Rebecca and see you later Ariel" she left the room and I got dress while throwing away the gown

" ready to go Bec?" She asked

" yeah" we left the room and Ariel drove me home. Today was the best day ever I saw my little bean and had a fun day with Ariel but how am I going to tell Jonathan about I..I mean..OUR baby.
