Task 1- What was your least favorite part in La La Land?
I didn't like Mia's date with the dude Greg (I think) because it was kind of dragged out and boring and then when she hears their theme, she like, cliche style ran out. I feel like they could've done that better.
Task 2- List Themes from La La Land
The one that resonated the most with me is sacrifice. It is literally impossible to live life the way you want it to be without sacrificing something, ie their relationship for their careers.
Task 3- What's cool about the reality/non-reality of La La Land? It was really cool to see how they used musical theater to tell a very realistic story without having someone on the outside of the conflict like Billy Elliot. It was also interesting to see the contrast.
Question- Woyld you choose your career over love? Why??
